JMX no more
Email announcing the end of the Jaded media Experience

Received this email from the PM. Lots of people in IRC hadn't seen it so I figured I'd post it:

Quote:

Well folks, I have come to a stark realization that the future of JMX is as unclear today as it has ever been. It's been more than a year since we stopped development on JMX2, which is a product of busy schedules as many of our team leaders have since gotten involved with other projects. Speaking for myself, the workload involved in running ARGNet has been overwhelming, and has left me little time to do other things.

Sadly, I am letting the JMX2 development die a peaceful death. There will not be a JMX, despite our best intentions and efforts. As well, I will be designating a different home for the JMX1 archive, as I am going to let the jadedmedia.net domian expire without renewal.

I am deeply disappointed that we could not deliver a second installment of the puzzle trail game to our fabulous fans, but will always hold a special place in my heart for JMX and its players.

Sincerely,
Jonathan Waite

I wanted to believe this was an April Fools Day prank. Why, jamesi, whyyyyyyyyyyy? Sad

Actually, I understand. I've been MIA for a while because I have a busy life too.

I just want to know what will become of Beachy Anpan?

Well, anyhow.... thanks for the memories.

If it I didn't know better - I'd be seriously thinking I was in the midst of a conspiratorial Olde Tyme Reuinion ARG, where some synchronistic Mystical Force calls everyone back to the MotherLand....

(Mind you, it would only be to have someone disappear under mysterious circumstances .... Wink )

The JMX domain is about to expire (15 days). While I hate the thought of losing it to a squatter or link farm, I don't see the need to keep it up. If you are interested in obtaining it through a transfer, let me know, and I'll consider the options.
