It seems to be just some kind of silly quasi-spiritual self-help community, like the kind all my business student friends think means so much because they're in love with their own language. $10 this has something to do with Jesus or proactive thinking or self-motivation or something else designed to garner high ratings on PAX and launch a USA Today best-seller.

Well, G3K, while I admit there's a lotta touchy-feely quasi-religiosity going on on that message board, this could also be whe backdrop for something cool. I dunno, and I definitely don't buy into the whole "harmonic living" or whatever they're pushing, but I also see quite a bit on Illuminati-style talk there too...

So this could also be an ARG based on Illuminati conspiracy, or Dan Brown-esque religious cover-up/power-struggle, etc...

But I would venture to say that whatever "the secret" is, it's not mainstream religious, or at least Christianity (which is what you'd likely find on PAX or, what I infer that you refer to in your post...) Otherwise, the trailer would not include "the church banned it". If it was a component to a major world religion, one would suspect that the church would not have banned it, or at least, why refer to that otherwise?

It just seems to me that this is either what you call it as (some mass-prostelytizing (spelling sucks) thing for some odd religion based on harmony and inner revelation) or it's something else, with that as a cover, to add reality (as so many seek "fulfillment" in these style of not-quite religions, or lifestyles).

So, I'm not trying to spark a heated debate on religion or anything here, but I tend to disagree that it's standard PAX-type fare. It appears to be something at least less mainstream, if not a completely different animal.

So the comments on that blog are definitely, um, in-house. Yet that could be as much a sign of an ARG as a sign of rabid "street team"ers.
