[trailhead?] 1888 9 vacancy

i saw a preview for the movie vacancy that had a little number to call on the bottom for "reservations" being a longtime off and on lurker in these games, i was like "w00t! arg!" and i called the number.

if you call it "1 888 9 8222629" or 1888 9 vacancy
you get an electronic menu. for reservations, information, and an operator. if you ask for the "operator" you get a 911 call that sounds like a clip from the film and then they hang up. if you ask for information they go on a little schpiel that refers you to 18889vacancy.com and enter the promotional code "8889"
if you ask for reservations you get a message saying the guy is not in right now and to leave your number to have him paged.

i searched for this but if someone else has already posted i apologize.

"The advertising strategy for the film makes use of the internet as well as a toll free phone number. In addition to the TV spots and trailers shown in theaters and on television, the toll free number is made to sound as if you're actually calling the motel in which the film is placed. In the background, screaming can be heard accompanying the voice of the proprietor, who informs you about "slashing" prices and the "killer" deals that his motel has. The phone number is 1-888-9-VACANCY (8222629) It is toll free.

In addition, the phone call also refers you to the film's website, which is also set up to be the site of the actual motel. After calling, you're given a "promotional code" (8889) which can be entered at the website, which then shows you previews of the snuff films that the motel proprietor and various people create first hand."

Also, on the cardboard display for the movie at theaters, they have postcards.
