Carnivale is the Italian equivalent to Mardi Gras, isn't it? That might go along with the "Tuesdays Are Free" title.

I'm thinking there is a Bond movie (Moonraker) where he leaves Venice and goes to Rio during Carnivale. The "Q" of that era was Desmond Llewelyn.

It even says "Who was that masked man?" on the first link to go to the Carnivale stuff.

"Who was that masked man?" is a pretty popularly cliche quote, though.

I'm pretty sure it's Carnevale, but now what? I've tried checking to see if there's a carnevale.html on that site; no such luck.

I kinda feel sorry for Redford. Nobody is really telling him any of this stuff in his Yahoo group, and the Pinelli Family page even mentions him directly as getting involved in something big.

Many clues point to the carnavale, but the man on the photo doesn't seem to attend a festival. In fact he's begging, there's a box for coins in the bottom of the picture. In my opinion he's a living statue, one of these mime artists who stand perfectly still for hours and make a gesture only when you put a coin in their box.

Anyway, it doesn't tell us who he is. There are certainly plenty of mime artists in Venice.

The living statue guy might be some kind of informant or dropoff for whatever the heck Q was doing...

EDIT:
There doesn't seem to be much else on the wiki... I searched for "illuminati," which should be in any conspiracy site, and there wasn't a page.

With that in mind, maybe we should take into account what's on the front page?

Since "Q was quite the actor", maybe the "festival" refers to the famous Venice Film Festival.

By the way, i think Q was Smith's target.

I submitted the guesses Carnivale and Carnival to the email address listed there. I'll be sure to post any response I receive.
I also sent an update on Red's yahoo group, but I don't think it has gone through, yet.
