The third picture, http://s149.photobucket.com/albums/s42/redfordlewis/?action=view&current=100_0290.jpg,
is the Corinth Canal, I believe.

Are people posting these findings at Redford's Yahoo group for him to comment on?
Damn nice job on the finds, people! Smile
I hope he keeps up with the blog, though, as I rather enjoyed reading it. The poor guy.

Ha ha ha! Thanks, Arbolita! You too! Smile
Damn those Happy Cubists, changing my name to Hugian! If they weren't serial killers, I'd give them a piece of my mind!
I wonder what importance the pictures have? I mean, if they were secreted away under a false bottom, they have to have SOME meaning, right?

Confirming the Mykonos windmills!
http://www.mykonos-web.com/mykonos/photos/large/mykonos3.jpg

OOG: There is a ARG computer game called "Missing!" that also had Mykonos as a location. Anyone think the two might be related?

Thanks, Casper! I was wondering why Mykanos reminded me of something! It *was* from the game "Missing".
It's a couple of years old, though, so I don't think it's tied in with this thing, but you never know. Maybe it was the inspiration for it?

I've joined. Not sure if I can offer much yet, but... looks neat!

I don't suppose anyone here knows about Arabic? I can try to fix up the scan to make it more legible.

ETA: While playing with the secret bottom photos, I noticed that the same guy seems to appear in three of them- he's up front in the museum photo (0123), groping a statue (0193), and wandering around in the background of the fake statue photo (0214). (Or, it could be several different people; I'm going mainly by shirt colour.)

The fourth picture looks a lot like Venice, Italy to me. I am having a hard time finding confirmation with an outside photo of those buildings or of that street performer. The bridge in the background and the stone pavers on the ground both look like venice to me.

So to sum up...

1) Celsius library at Ephesus - Turkey
2) Mykonos - Greece
3) Corinth Canal - Greece
4) Venice, Italy
5) Vatican - Italy
6) Juliet's Balcony - Verona, Italy

Ok I think I just found my confirming photo.

http://www.randomruin.com/igallery/igallery.asp?d=%5C00+highlights%5C

Bottom of the page on the right, is a photo of Venice Architecture. Look closely at the photo and notice that it is next to a pink building, the purple flowers and green window shutters.

Now look at photo number 4.

http://s149.photobucket.com/albums/s42/redfordlewis/?action=view&current=100_0214.jpg

Left hand side of the photo is a pink building. The build to the right of it is an identical match to the building in the first photo. Same number of windows and everything.

Number 4 is Venice.

Okay, so somebody was already registered as 'Rekidk' at Yahoo.com. Uh...? Confused I'm 'TheRealRekidk.'

We should submit the picture locations to Redford ASAP, as well.

Other than that... Not much to contribute. XD

Done. I also asked him to see if any of the passports had country stamps on them as well.

Am I the only one who has had an issue with having your messages show up in the yahoo group? It says he needs to approve them, but other peoples are showing up after I posted mine Dunno

Yahoo tends to be really weird with group posting sometimes. You kinda get what you pay for...

At work, so not much time to check it out, but we got the ISBN number for the book, searched it real quick, and here it is:

http://www.randomhouse.com/catalog/display.pperl?isbn=9780385189514

I believe on there you can browse the book also, so maybe we can find what we need from the website
