This isn't even a puzzle. The interface is really annoying. I hope things get better.

Yeah it made me cranky....I hate this puzzle.

I'm currently stuck on the body....any hints?

Well, that's all for me today. Can't go any further without the chart, and I'm not getting to a dealership today. Good luck and see you tomorrow - when there will probably be at least 50 replies on this post Smile

Ok, so I think the 6 different sets of 1-9 symbols are perhaps keys that help you figure out what the different numbers on the body really are. Does that sound right or am I going to waste time going down that path?

yeah thats the right idea. i couldnt see them all that well so i went and looked up the languages:

torso: Brahmi
his right arm: Chinese
his left arm: Devanagari
his right leg: Arabic-Indic
his left leg: Thai

I think those are correct as far as i could tell from wikipedia

Interesting, but you don't need to look up languages to solve the puzzle. Everything you need to solve the body art puzzle is visible on the body.

Puzzle Aides

A good FYI for 1st timers:

There were occasions during last years game where referencing WAS needed. In particular, light house flashes which needed to be translated from morse code. It'll be a good idea to keep "paint" program (or something similar) so you can quickly copy and paste screen shots and manipulate the image. This also helped with puzzles where numbers hit so fast you couldn't keep up like, the lightening flashes where we had to count the arcs.

Hopefully this will be helpful to the "newbies" and give them an idea of what is to come...

4) Stomach - 3
5) Upper left thigh - 5 (at first I thought it was 0 or 6 or 9)
6) Mid Left thigh - 0
7) Lower Right thigh - 5
8) Below Left knee - 9 (at first I thought it was a 7)

Lose ( 1 ), Should have stuck with ( 8 ). Everything else is good except you need a new ( 4 ) since ( 2 ) bumped up to ( 1 )...

savy?

body coords.

I used the coordinates someone listed below and they worked. But can someone list where the correct numbers are located? I'd like to see them for myself.
Here's what I found:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
3-right shoulder
5-?
3-stomach
8-?
0-left thigh
0-left thigh
5-right thigh in black area
7-left ankle area

Puzzle Aides

Another for the newbies...

It can also help immensely to adjust your brightness and contrast settings on these dark puzzles...

See any mystery symbols on the body? Those symbols appear in more than one spot. Find it and you are likely to understand where the 5, 8, and 7 come from (and why some have confused the 7 for a 9).

Anyone have a higher rez version of the Volvo Map?

I'll be getting one later, maybe tomorrow, but I'd love to analyze it more in the meantime.

Thanks!
