Preparations? So I'm compiling a bunch of files that may or may not come in handy for the final- is there something else I may want to reference that I'm missing?
My map (duh)
A copy of the map with the extra corner attached
Printouts of each of the 5 different numeral systems
A copy of the maze (just in case?)
The final of the dominoes puzzle
A copy of each of the groups of circles on the dinosaur bones
A list of phases of the moon
A couple of lists of constellations
A copy of the ginormous wall map
Any suggestions for anything else that may come in handy that I'm forgetting about?

Time? So what time in the Eastern Time Zone does the puzzle open?
It's suppose to open up at 5/28 @ 23:00 Local Time at the Southern Ocean, so what does that mean in terms of the Eastern Time Zone for the USA?

i believe that means 730 am pacific standard time and 1030 eastern standard time(US). can anyone confirm or deny this? I believe that has been when most of the puzzles have opened. i havent been at the last few when they opened so i do not know if this no longer applies.
thanks guys and good luck:)

I think the area on the map that the intro to the level showed is in the +10 time zone, and EST is 5 more before that. Together I think that Southern Ocean is EST +15, making it 8 am. Here's the map I used- If I'm totally wrong please please say so, as I'm not looking forward to waking up so early.
Here's the map I used:

That constellation puzzle was one of my favorites last year - wish they would do something like that.
My screen capture program (SnagIt - works great & is inexpensive too) really saved me with that puzzle. Maybe it'll be useful here as well.
This is all going by too quickly this time!

Moon The moon is in the sky like a big pizza pie, got to love it.
Not quite the way the song goes but it looks like we might have shadows going across the moon so that means we might get to use our mighty Volvo map again.
I hope everyone is ready with all their numbers solved on the 4 sections with moons.
FYI the quarter moon pieces can be matched to form other numbers.
Best of Luck to All

Yes, Best of luck to everyone in this forum but, especially the key contributors from this and last year's hunt: Red Hatty, Sassy, Sab (When your not laying verbal waste to 5th graders ). You have all been great and it would certainly be nice to see one of you make it all the way.
Be sure to let us know!

Thanks Thanks Ursa, you've been great too!
It helps to have everyones ideas because a puzzle is solved one piece at a time. So again to everyone best of luck and thanks I've enjoyed it.
Its been a blast, where did the time go?
P.S. I really think Titi was messing with me so I was messing back, I hope he understands. That show is a riot! Just like these puzzles some so simple that we over think it and the solution is right there in front of us.
