But which pistol is going to be used? The only pistol I knew that had a scope was the one for Halo 1. And that one was insane powerful.

theres so much debate on that according to frankie the pistol will be nothing like the one from halo 1, but the halo3.com site suggests otherwise... anyway thats all off topic

Anyone care to try translating the kanji that Cortana's made of? Very Happy

i dont know about the hbo forums but on the main bungie forums theres nothing but rabid 14 year olds jumping at a new ilb

Must've been horror though trying to get info thorugh all the nonsensical babble. Either way, degravity does have a point. In all of the photos, I've yet to see the Marathon logo anywhere.

I'm wondering if these "symbols" are just there for the coolness of it all.

*Pokes head in* I must confess I also came to Unfiction as a Halo fanboy, now I'm a Halo fanMAN. Rolling Eyes

Also in terms of the pistol, and I'll keep this short, it will look like the one from Halo 1, shoot slower, be weaker, and not have a scope. As Frankie said it was a typo and some recent leaked videos of the internal Halo 3 beta, which are not available anymore, proved that there is no scope and it looks identical to the pistol in Halo 1.

Lastly, over at Major Nelsons twitter he mentions being in a meeting for some Halo events. Nothing substantial but it is something. Here's a link to his twitter

I've read that the aaaault rifle will be upgraded and the battle rifle will be powered down.

I came to UF right after ILB ended because I was reading an article about it. So I wouldn't say I came as a Halo fanboy, but it was because I happened to be one that I am here.

It's really too bad City of Domes ended so abruptly
