Could the "random" flashes of images at the end of Segment 4 have some significance to another 42 game? Are any of them from previous games? (minus the pictures of Miyamoto)

to my count miyamoto.spiketv.com now appears at least 4 or 5 times during the show... and miyamoto also seems to appear veeerry quickly at 1:11 seconds next to Liko from Vanishing Point in segment four (maybe someone can capture this, it looks even more like Miyamoto. It's interesting that you, Degravity, refer to miyamoto as a ghost, he also looks like a ghost next to Liko. Maybe we can connect ghost.713 to miyamoto somehow? Also, maybe someone can capture the hexagons over princess peach during the paper mario preview? So far the only connection i see between mario and halo is that Jen Taylor is the voice for both princess peach and cortana, am i the only one who finds this very interesting?

Edit: Degravity already has captured the hexagons over Peach

Hex
Discount the Hexagons

The hexagons on peach appear in the game. It's the way Count Bleck transports his captives. It's in no way related to this.

Oh, please let this be the start of another ILB. That would bring me back here, not just for the Halo-iness but also for the great story that 4orty-Two created last time.

OK, so a news bit has made it to halo.bungie.org saying that Halo 3 ARG might be startingl... all circular references of course, but get ready for fanboys to flood the forum.

It's a possibility that there is no ARG or even any viral marketing, at least in the sense of the word we normally take it as. Since Bungie's fans know that there had been an ARG for Halo 2 which they enjoyed and since you never comfirm the existance of an ARG until it's over all denial of an ARG only spurs more talk about it. So when a weird string shows up on the official site or the GameHead host does a soft push of the Halo 3 ARG into the consumer minds, we jump on it whether there's anything to jump on or not. And either way, Bungie reaps the reward because there's a sudden influx of interest in them and their games again.

So, that was my really longwinded way of asking: since Halo 3 doesn't come out until fall/November (7 months seems like an awefully long time for an ARG to go on, doesn't it?), is it possible that Bungie only put the text on the Warthog specs to draw back as much interest as they could? By playing on the fact that we would all go rabid over the hopes of another ARG, I mean. Especially since Halo 2 for the PC is supposed to come out on May 8th.

What if the Miyamoto references are the start of a Nintendo ARG... That would be awesome *goes all dreamy eyed*

Anton P Nym brought up an interesting post over on HBO...

nutshell: Bungie's Jeremiah is working on a "super awesome project" with Pete Parsons and Jordan Wiseman.

hmm.

The Halo 3 web page has been updated with new content.

I haven't checked to see if any of the content is related to what we have found so far.
