It's Trent's vision (not 42).

The story, the layout, the viewpoint is all NiN.
The execution is 42.

that's probably mostly true, but..

The view point that our government is corrupt is not an isolated one.
Given the level of intelligence and creativity the minds at 42 seem to have I'm sure they to can see through a lot of their bullshit.

If you wish this conversation to continue, can I suggest that these last few posts be moved to the [Meta] thread as this is off topic here.

oK, the mp3 with the Muslim kid getting killed has an obvious moris code at the end. has anyone cracked it yet. it's kinda intimidating to try and solve it without ever having messed with one before.>>

Yes, the morse code is ..--- ....- .-.-.- .---- ----- .-.-.- .---- which works out to be 24.10.1. Probably the easiest way to do the Morse codes at the end of the audio files is to open it up in Audacity (or other audio software). It allows you to see the dots and dashes quite easily rather than having to listen and try to translate it that way.

AW DAMNIT! that's what this list http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18764
was talking about. i thought the morse code was in letters. and thought the numbers in the list on the page i linked where also supposed to be letters since none of the numbers went over 26.

so in my mind stuff was supposed to look like this : IOSAAAA etc. and XJA

anyway, isnt the morse code the kind of thing that should be updated here also?

www.anotherversionofthetruth.com/0/ is the start of a puzzle game, you follow the clues for a word, and then put the word after the 0/ in the addy to get to the next page, its pretty fun:) This site is found from one of the many mailstrom shards.
lite spoiler:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The pages throughout the puzzle tells a story about one of the "agents" involved with the star chamber incident and helps shed light on things like orange tears

I went through all these myself so I'll add the explanations in here.
The italics are them.
Also changed the numbering and added #13.

META, I think is the word

I don't know whether I'm happy or unimpressed that 42 slipped in a reference to their last well-known (without the help of AOTS) game (that I know of). Or was that one of NIN's touches, that just happens to parallel?

Dare to place bets on when an ARG shows up that has someone actually killed with a stick of chewing gum? Very Happy

I'm waiting for the person who says:

"I'm good at my job."

Smile

As for the reference to i love bees,, I don't think anyone but Shad0 caught that, it wasn't much of a shout out...but, it was subtle. Something subtle in this game, yay. Smile
