Doctor Who related viral stuff
Vote Saxon!

n the past couple seasons, the BBC has created a few viral sites relating to Doctor Who...the Torchwood page, the UNIT page, Who is Doctor Who, etc.

Well they've gone all out this time round, and it all related to a Mr. Saxon. He got mentioned last season in Love and Monsters, as well as Runaway Bride, Smith and Jones, and in Torchwood. He's apparently a politician running for Prime Minister, and it's led to a few new sites.

http://www.myspace.com/lecturers A Mr. Saxon myspace page, wherein he displays his concern of alien invasion, and of the Doctor.

http://www.votesaxon.org.uk/ His site itself.

More interestingly, a connection to "LazLabs."

I don't think it's any sort of full blown ARG, but it's some really neat stuff nonetheless.

Out of curiosity, did anyone download the first week of audio and video podcasts from BBC? All they have now are the streaming ones - making it a little difficult to save to my computer to watch later away from my computer. If anyone could provide a copy to me, I'd be much appreciative.

edit: Btw, iTunes is a tease. It shows the first episode commentaries listed in the podcast directory, but the files seem to have been deleted from the server. Sad

edit 2: clarification of why I want a download vs streaming.
