I must admit I am hoping DJ figures in all this, he's one part of the mystery along with Lachlan that I have tried really hard to further our understanding of. I have sent so many emails I was just chuffed to get a reply.

A while ago I sent a huge, empathic message to lachlan fair begging him to enter into some dialogue with me. I assured him that I had no other motive save for a desire to understand the mysterious coincidences that led us to his myspace. Guess what? He replied.

I'm sure Margot is one of us. She's on MySpace and has exchanged messages with Hope. Guess she said something profound to be mentioned at the end of the video.

Looks like http://www.cornerstoretech.com/ is the site of a store selling survival equipment. The page is in construction, hopefully online in July (nice word pun, choas). It's basically a huge collection of .gif images for the layout, except for a customer login.

Hope keeps dropping the idea that she's had a sordid past-- her myspace is new to get away from highschool friends and she's implied the same general discomfort in a couple of pms you guy's have had with her. DJ says to stay away from the Hendlers, maybe he's part of Hope's crazy history? We thought before maybe he was her boyfriend, or the boy she's staying with, but what if he's her ex?

edit: what have we even been given to assume that DJ is a boy?

I never took that comment about people disappearing literally. She was talking about the people she knew in high school. It's normal that those people "disappear" once you leave school. I mean, I never see anyone from my old class. So, it's like they disappeared. But not really. They're still there, they're just not keeping in touch.

I tried to post a video reply, but YouTube seems to be down as far as uploading goes.

Hi Guys,
So many mysteries Shocked

I, like capgun, gave a more literal interpretation for the disappearance of people she 'thought she could trust' primarily as she herself implies on her blog that she has kept in touch with old friends from high school or that in the very least she believes they are reading her messages. In her email she doesn't indicate who she is talking about and seems herself to query whether or not these people have moved on? Her query in and of itself doesn't leave me feeling she's too convinced.

Something else has flicked my mind switch. Back in the days of Lachlan being Lachlan, Schrijvertje did some excellent detective work and uncovered two sites under the banner of Illyria Pty Ltd, one of which was simply a white page with the company name upon it and the second was a rather uninspired site that requested a password at some stage. What struck me as decidedly odd was that a man of Lachlan Murdoch's notable media expertise who has a keen eye for design would lend his company name to one of the drabest most uninteresting sites I have ever come across. With the discovery that Lachlan is in fact Marshall our investigations have turned up two further sites, one of which is a white page with a company name and the second is a basic site under construction which requires a password. Does this not strike anybody as somewhat odd and rather a dramatic coincidence?

I have very little technological nounce but wondered if anyone here does could they look over these sites for anything that might point to them being ingame? I can't see anything but don't exactly know what I'm looking for.

Good point about DJ being a boy also. I just arrived at that conclusion as he/she frequently uses dude when communicating with us which seems a more boyish way of talking than one would expect from a woman.

Here's hoping that our current round of emails and messages prompts some verification on who or what we are dealing with here. We still have yet to find out who is our protagonist and who is our antagonist. I change my mind like I change my socks: which is a lot actually Laughing
