Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them". - Act II, Scene V

Marshal (I'm not going to call him Lachlan anymore) isn't very communicative when it comes to Hendler, though it's obvious he has strong feelings about him.

Quote:
Hendler's a dick

Quote:
Hendler's a tool

My interpretation: according to Marshal, Hendler is some kind of middle man who acts bigger than he actually is. Somebody is using Hendler (tool) and because of that Hendler believes he's important (dick) when the truth is it could easily have been another guy in his place.

Hendler clearly sees himself as an authority in the field of solar storms; just look at his comments on the numerous articles about the subject. After all this time, though, we still don't have a handle on the Doc's academic background. We don't know if he really is the expert he wants us to believe he is. He often mentions he has work to do, he's going away on business. But what is his work? What is his business?

The only thing that links Marshal and Hendler together, is the solar image on Marshal's blog, the same image I posted on Hendler's blog when he asked us for these kind of images. Hendler has picked up on this image and asked me where I got it, since he's seen it before. Hendler has yet to reply to this.

Fizz, you're right about the comparisons between the Illyria site and the cornerstoretech site. I had forgotten all about Illyria ever since "Lachlan Murdoch" had been unmasked.

Hendler just replied to me telling him where I found the image:

Quote:
Ahh, the evil eye! Someone else posted a similar image. While there is much to be said for the lashing tendrils and ripping infernos, I personally prefer the eye-like images. They give me chills!

Lachlan? Disquieting. Most certainly that is not the real Lachlan Murdock. Seems like a weird fellow.

Not what I was expecting. So I took the next step and told the Doc his real name is Marshal; also that he seems to know him as well. I hope this won't turn out a bad idea.

Mcgritts that is beyond weird Shocked
As you probably all know it's Wimbledon here in the Uk, the most important championships of the tennis year. I adore tennis so did watch the game today that Hendler refers to though the site you uncovered is certainly not Jelena's official site. But you are right in thinking Owls have been mentioned. Some posts ago I commented, more in speculation than anything, that this storyline had vast similarities with elements of the mytharc from Season Two of Millennium. Most notably in the beliefs of an apocalyptic faction known as the Owls who predicted that world would end due to some undisclosed astronomical phenomena. But more oddly both I and Mokey made comment on these pages of our love for Twin Peaks. The phrase "The owls are not what they seem" is lifted directly from that show.

Quote:
Agent Cooper has just been shot three times in the torso and is lying in his hotel room, #315, at the Great Northern Hotel. "The Giant" appears and asks if Cooper will believe him if he tells him three things and they come true. The clues are, "There is a man in a smiling bag"; "The owls are not what they seem"; and "Without chemicals he points." "The man in the smiling bag" was Jacques Renault. "Without chemicals he points" pertains to Phillip Gerard/Mike, "The One-Armed Man." "The owls are not what they seem" is the only one of the three that has not yet been understood by Cooper.

This is beyond coincidence.

I have to jaunt to the pub for a pint or two of ale but when I return, inebriate or otherwise, I aint going to sleep till I solve this.
Excellent work Mcgritt.

i remeber that

that show was cool but i dont remember it to well other than it was pre xfiles but kinda like xfiles but weirder. i dont to much about checkin the source code but iv done it and dont really know what im lookin but notthin seems outta place other than that crazy link and this link...http://www.member-me.com/apache2-default/
all it says is "it works" theres more that do it too and most of links have either expired or are in german?dutch? i dunno. the link with "it works"

http://dns.jankovic.net/apache2-default/
dont know if this matters yet but "the" twin peaks are in san fransico maybe thats our next stop

a link to wikipedia explaining twinpeaks for those of us that dont know and it talks about the owls apparently there are just a metaphor for the visions he was having in the show(?)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twin_peaks there was also a characther in the show named DJ

and a better explanation of the owls

Bloody hell! It's all going mad Evil or Very Mad
Hope has moved location and teases us to discover where it is in her latest youtube offering. I can find numerous Dinosaur related attractions in the US but without having a sense of geographical location I can't verify how many of them are within travelling distance of her last location. I'm a fish out of water with this one. Any US citizens shed some light?

I'm wondering about the whole 'owl' connection we have been presented with. I cannot believe that this is all mere coincidence that a tennis match discussed on Hendler's blog leads us to one hell of a strange site with connections to conversations had on this forum. The point of the 'owl' clue in twin peaks is that is was unsolved, that Agent Cooper never deduced it's meaning. Are we being told we have missed something? That there is a clue out there we have yet to find?

I have checked http://icanhascheezburger.com/ the one link that didn't lead us anywhere on the off chance that Hope had uploaded an image of her puppy (which is what we expected her to do) but to no avail.
I'm scratching my head with this one.

It would appear that the odd website is the work of Emil Jankovic:

Quote:
Current

* Project Manager at STV Konsult AB

Past

* Research Engineer at KTH

Education

* Kungliga Tekniska högskolan

Connections
37 connections
Industry
Media Production
Websites

* My Company

Yet one more strange and decidedly poor quality website apparently the product of a media producer. Nah, don't buy.

I have found a myspace page for a Jelena Jankovic who describes herself as a tennis player. She is a member of a group known as 'Pretty In Pink' which sits nicely with the whole Pink Hour mystery and states her earnings as '£250,000 and Higher' which is identical to Lachlan Murdoch's earnings of his page. God, headaches abound, is this all coincidence?

I think we need to know the location McGritts.
Are you from the US?
I wondered if she was in Dinosaur Land, Virginia, Shenandoah Valley but have no idea if its possible to travel there from Mnt. Wilson in Los Angeles in the time we last heard from her?

Stunning stuff my friend,
So she's at:
Quote:
Cabazon Dinosaurs

50800 Seminole Dr

Cabazon, CA 92230-2304

(951) 922 8700

And since she wants us to guess where she is and you were the one that found her maybe you should send her a message and make your guess. Would seem only right that you should reap the rewards Very Happy

I just skimmed through the latest rash of posts, though I have to say that 12th night was definitely the first thing to came to mind when Illyria popped up, it being my very favorite Shakespeare and all. That and I am rawther inebriated and perhaps not of the greatest help at the moment. Not much parental influence in this play though- due to the utter absence of any parental influence. It's really more of a love story (quadrangle, if you will, perhaps even more of a love polygon). There doesn't seem to be much of a love story here, except for our hypothesis about Hope and DJ. Question

Oh well. I'm off to bed. can't really digest this stuff now. still haven't heard back from Hope.

When you follow the owls link on that jankovic site, you get a list of url's at www.geourl.org. The one closest is a Google maps photo of the sailship AF Chapman. Here's some information on it: http://www.photoglobe.info/blhl_stockholm/stockholm_20050725_040.html

But the ship is in Stockholm. The jankovic site it actually in Sur, Oman.

I didn't know url's had a geographical location. What's this all about? I'm officially confused.

Are we digging too deep again? Is this really connected? We've been given so much information again without a real assignment what to do with it, no real mystery to solve.
