I was thinking about the I Ching letters, and I noticed the Call of Cthulhu version seems pretty suggestive, even with many letters missing:

t_nt_y_ut_ost

could be "ten T_y_ut_o St." Some sort of live event address? Of course, I could be way off.

I'm really quite new to the whole Lovecraftian stuff, and to be honest I was just never that interested in it - but wasn't Arkham fictional?

I'm just trying to wrap my head around some of this stuff and have ended up going round in circles - looking into asylums and gragaes...lol....finding myself into the DC comic universe, where Arkham Sanitarium became Arkham Asylum?

I believe Arkham was Lovecraft's version of New England.

I am wearing a scent called Arkham today, incidentally. Seemed appropriate. Wink

(Maple, birch, dogwood, cypress and pine softened by a garland of New England wildflowers: bergamot, columbine, rue anemone, blue violet, creeping phlox, bloodroot, toadflax, and pixie moss. Very nice; I smell sort of like a wildflower garden after it rains.)

Also Arkham Asylum in the DC universe was an homage to Lovecraft. So I assume it's unrelated. But like I said there was the sanatorium and that is pure Lovecraft. Also Arkham House was the publisher of some of his work I think.

BTW - Arkham is also home to the Miskatonic University, which you've probably heard of and will probably pop up somewhere in this game.
