 		Three comments from what little has gone on today.
Mkaos mentioned in the MUD if anyone had called BA with dreams today.

also, themagician misspelled "distracted" as "destracted" twice, in addition to misspelling "You're welcome".
And finally, themagician thinks Xé:3a is important.

 		In anything drawn so heavily on Lovecraft mythos, that's a proper analogy, Jimmy. As I remember it, wasn't Lovecraft's major theme throughout something like 'humanity just isn't capable of dealing with this'.

 		Couple of thoughts.

At one point during the CL saga, B.A. says someone took her picture, did anything come of that? (REF CL 4-14 12:05 & 4-27 11:47)

Unless I read out of order, there seem to be at least 2 dreamworlds.
1 in which she has replaced the angel's finger, and 1 in which this doesnt even occur to her.

How can you tell who " you " is at any one point in the story. There is reference to many, obviously different people(and a cat and Providence) she calls "you".

I know this is painfully obvious, but has anyone checked for angels in Providence?( REF CL 5-31 4:05 "Sometimes its better to think of a name as a description of place and time. Providence." )

CL 5-09 12:35 " buried plans that lead nowhere " Is this us chasing a dead-end? I ask because it seems like everytime i turn around i see " net security" and " virus software" and there was the Dilbert about viruses. I seem to remember someone mentioning a virus ridden sight that might have been IG, did it turn out not to be? Mkaos said

If you mean the original Louisville CL, it seems to have been directed at a photographer, but we never found out who that was supposed to be. Later, the old woman holds up a picture of her, but nothing came of that either.

This is possible. One speculation is that some of the dreamworld describes the future, other times it is describing the past and other times the present. Crazy stuff.

It's pretty clear that there are several different "you"s. More recently, there have been some repeated locations (Harrisonburg, obviously, but also Stockholm, Bangladesh, Lima, etc.) that may all be for the same people. Otherwise, it is not clear at all much of the time who "you" is.

I believe that all kinds of searching has been done to try to identify real angels, both in Providence and other places. Nothing obvious so far, but that doesn't mean that it's not out there somewhere.

I don't know about the virus angle, but B.A. has indeed made several snarky comments about how we seem to be chasing our tails, going nowhere, etc. We still don't know what the Dilbert was supposed to be. In fact we don't know what most of the things from the original packages are about. The BOIL thing certainly seems like a virus, though. Ironic how a site devoted to computer security gets invaded by an evil computer...thing.

We *think* that the man on the corner playing the drums is Exu, who popped up on SentryOutpost and spouted some thaumaturgical nonsense and then disappeared. B.A. has been trying to get answers out of the drummer for weeks now. If the drummer is anything like Exu, I wish her luck!

I don't know about 'give up.' Tarot does show up a lot: on BseeingU.com, on Bryce's avatar, in Alphabet City, in the CLs with the old woman. I don't know what it means, though -- unless it's a general psychic thing.

 		Not sure that this is really important right now, but I'm gonna throw it out there and see fi it sticks. I remember when the postings said we had 10 days to figure something out. I had looked up and discovered that Antares was going to be occulted by the moon that night (June 2Cool, only visible from Australia and S. America. Somewhere near the coordinates for R'lyeh. Then came Kevin's page with the typo "IÕve". Iove was one of the names of Jupiter in Latin mythology. I was looking back through some old tarot info, since it's been forever since I've handled a deck. The Hanged Man
