dangit. K I need more help on the rosary.

I can't rearrange these words to mean anything. I found a program to help out but it gave me way too many results to look through.

Program for your "Toolbox"

Use your friend, search for "Cryptool" Download it, Install it. You'll be glad you did!

Holy F--wooden blocks????

Allright, just got to the wooden blocks page. Has anyone solved this? No hints...yet. Just want to know it's possible.

anyone? anyone?

All right, I've been researching block ciphers, for obvious reasons if you've gotten to the wooden blocks ciphertext. If we have to understand the actual equations of all that, I'm doomed.

But here's what I can tell.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If the rotations of the blocks mean something, then the letters aren't letters: They're numbers. Specifically a number between 1 and (26 letters * 4 sides of a block). Factor in the snails, and each block now represents a number between 1 and (104 * 4). So each block represents a number between 1 and 416.

Taking our cue from the earlier circle cipher, we know our sequence probably begins with a snail, putting the start of the sequence down in the lower right.

That would make the first block an upright (rotated to 1st position) S (the 19the letter) from a sequence begun by a 4-rotated snail:

4 * 1 * 19 = 76

So here's my questions:

Does this mean that, whatever letter that first S represents, a later S rotated to 2nd position preceded by a 2-rotated snail MUST be the same letter?

Does that mean that a T in a 4 * 1 * 20 configuration MUST represent the same letter as a J in a 4 * 2 * 10 position?

Herring

I've just made my way through a series of da Vinci paintings to end up at a self portrait of da Vinci himself. Now I'm stuck. Is this a red herring trail as I notice no-one else seems to be dealing with these paintings.

If so, on which puzzle did I go wrong?

Cheers for any guidance.

It just can't be...

On the wooden blocks--

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the rotation of the letter blocks CAN'T be significant, except as a disguise for the rotations of the snails

or can it?...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
what if the rotation was as simple as an S rotated once is a T, twice is a U, then V and W? The actual letter is still encrypted, but this gets around PHD math, which I'm trying to avoid, with only an ADD degree

If I post enough wild goose chases, guys, grngecko will take pity!

Hey folks. Was out of town for a few days and fell behind.

I'm dying to help out with these famous blocks, but I'm still hung up on the rosary. I think I get the idea, but I fear that I need a nudge to get the keyword. Anyone?

for simokon...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Sorry. You've been told to mind your manners. So don't mar the puzzle by being a big nag for hints.
