Ok. So went back to the beginning, and the next puzzle is titled "Déjà vu?".
Is this more along the lines of what other people had.

It was tormenting me that people after solving the entry puzzle, seemed to be progressing rapidly.

That's what I had. Although I'm led to believe that things converge after a little while from the multiple starts.

[EDIT]I am totally feeling stupid on this one. I'm afraid I'm going to have to plead with uberG33k to render a little more assistance Smile

Please, make the smug sod stop staring at me!

What?

Ok I completely fluked the entry puzzle, was there a puzzle?, needless to say I'm now stuck on the next puzzle.

TV on a wall, static, the flash file is tvnoise, I know I'm missing something obvious, hell I even dusted my monitor Embarassed to make sure I wasn't imaging seeing writing on the wall.

Whoa ... where the hell are you? The other deja vu page you spoke of is the next step most of us took ... but what you're describing is ... something else.

A better hint'd be nice Smile... I really am stuck, no idea where to go.

I only asked for the solve before because I knew I was really, really close, only the particular arrangement of words in my way, but with this I have no idea. Seems unsportsmanlike asking for the solve to this one.

Its probably that I'm barking p the wrong tree entirely, because it seems like this one should be kind of blindingly obvious when you know it. So if I could be barking up the right tree that'd be great Smile

With apologies for grovellyness

Scarab beetle and some code for me next. I assume this is a familiar path for those already past it. Bed time first Exclamation

If the tv on a wall was another way in, it is far harder than actually reading the definition and progressing to and from the deja vu page.

Are you an the one with
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the roaches and the noise a little like a flushing lavatory?

I also have no idea how its encoded.

Working on a complicated line of thought which is far too much work at the moment...

Uh, no. I'm currently on a page where
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
there's a picture of a young girl with her mouth taped shut and the sounds of bells or something

Seems like we somehow split. How did that happen?

Nah, I'm one ahead of you Very Happy

That one is

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
a Vigenere cipher. I solved it by well, fluke and an educated guess really. Look for letters you know the plaintext for already.

if you're still stuck. UF has a handy tool linked from its "online tools" page.
