 		hi everyone.
so i'm new to this forum thing, not so new to torment. my problem is-- i dont understand cyphers. i had some friends help me with the earlier puzzles (cryptology came in useful for them >.>).

i've been looking at a bunch of different forums and all confuse me to no end. i literally spent all night last night thinking about the blocks. i was told the obvious answer was childsplay (thank you google) but then i was told it was a red herring.
how can it be a red herring if i leads to 3 other successive puzzles?

is it possible that the blocks are a dead end????

please help. it would be much appreciated. I may be going mad.

 		Someone actually got a message out of the blocks which i was REALLY thinking was impossible.

But there has not been an answer found for them.

Could it be a red herring and for the past say 4 years we al have been led astray. Still a possibility.
The translated text comes from a valid source so it isnt just a bunch of words.

You solved childsplay?? It was thought to be a red herring right off the top... hmmm

 		Every year or so I come back by here to see how things are going. I got as far as child's play... that was, oh, three years ago now? Almost four? Yeah. And still, no one has solved this.

Better give up hope guys. You know what they say...

 		It's gone! Grngecko's site is no more! All you get is a girl with tape over her mouth and a form, but I don't know what it's supposed to be and any of his old urls 404! GAH! There's a series of bars if you highlight beneath her, but I can't make heads of tails of it. Tried converting it into decimal from base 4, binary, ASCII...nada. I think he just gave up on the site before anyone could finish Torment!

It's fairly straightforward to convert. A hint would be to look closely in the source code at the exact thing to convert. o one knows what to do after you have the word though because it isn't the password!

Nobody knows. But it happened on the 4 year anniversary. Maybe he got bored! Don't know how to solve the screen yet..

So now what happens to us? I was very interested in what happened after the blocs, spent days, weeks trying to get that thing... a friend of mine actually went crazy believed there was something more, the other path where we got stuck was the gas mask where the man said "look behind you"... we investigated the whoel damn game trying to find a pattern, level by level, filled up whole notebooks with old cryptology, bionicle, rot 13 14 and 15, bynari, morse code, even alchemy symbols... nada....and now this? what happened to the game?
