I'll keep trying. Don't know how many other way I could possible come up with for the answer. I have two possible answers (with variations) and nothing seems to be working. Thanks for the reply and push.

I'm completely annoyed with myself because I'm only on Page 2
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Deja Vu -- the angel
, and I can't get past it.

The nice way to think of this is that I just haven't gotten the hang of it yet (and I just woke up). Probably the more realistic way to think of it is that I'm missing the obvious because I'm utterly hopeless. Confused

Anybody want to give me a little nudge so I can swim outside the kiddy pool?

That page uses one of the oldest tricks in the ARG handbook.

I submit

Uberg33k, unless you have an incredibly insight clue, regarding the painting
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
lady with a member of the Mustelidae family
I'm gonna have to ask you to send me a PM with the answer.

Honestly the only thing I can think of is that, in what seems like dozens of combinations I tried there must have been a spelling mistake.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Grngeckos choice of grammar was different than the majority of descriptions of the painting, maybe more of a direct translation?

Okay.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I've decoded the cypher on the beetle, and I have the location, but nothing I enter works for the solution key! Mad It's driving me insane. I've read about as much on this place as I can take, and nothing I've tried is the right answer!

Any hints available?

Read the clue carefully. Note the way its phrased. Once you find where its pointing, understand that the creator of the puzzle is Anglo and not a native of that country. The answer is in his native tongue

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In other words think hybrid

Oh but I am Smile

They are a total swine, those things. I credit Stormseeker with the solve - we were working on it in a chat.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
look carefully at their movements, as well as the stops they make, and grab a pencil.

Wow, that's actually what I was thinking, but I couldn't make much of it so I gave up on it. I'll keep on in that direction then.
