Makes me fell even better about not giving Nicole any moolah.

Purple ribbons seems to have a few meanings, but this seems to fit best with our otherworldly theme.

I don't think that B.A. thinks of herself as a "psychic."

Hrm, I was just looking at the cat angle on this... purple ribbons are apparently given to Grand Champions in cat shows.

Sounds like a wacky manga title.

The purple/Amethyst thing might just be symbolic. Both are related to the spiritual realm and mysticism. Purple also is the color of royalty and inner wisdom. The giant stone cat on a palanquin sure sounds royal to me. You usually don't get yourself carried about in that manner unless you're something special. And the style of the women's dress sounds Arabic (Maybe Indian or Asian?) as well.

About Amethyst...

I thought this too, tipsila. However, the "CL Me" never did like Tarot. Yet B.A. St. Feline has the "Strength" Tarot card as part of her website background.

Maybe she just likes the pretty picture, but it could be a possibility that B.A. is either 1.) not the CL poster or 2.) within someone else's dream when discussing this particular attitude.

Dunno . . . just an observation.

I'm going with number 2. But it also seems to me that perhaps That not only "You" change during the CL posts, but that there may be more than one "Me".

Her speech pattern seems to change during certain posts. The number of obscenities used. The amount of humor. And the general attitude about her surroundings.

Is it possible she's seeing the dreams/futures of 2 or 3 (or more?) people that are making their way toward the fountain and/or angel, and is telling the story of each? Possibly even the futures of the Old Sentries?

EDIT: I realize all the pieces don't fall in place with the future Sentries theory (why and how the green finger?)... but it's just a thought.

Maybe the CL postings are more of a dialogue by BA and DC? Or a dialogue between DC and someone else which BA shifts between (explaining why BA is always signs the postings).

It might also be important to note that the Tower tarot card signifies external change as opposed to the Death tarot card which signifies internal change.
