I think there's one more to go...

...and is there really someone in Budapest? Possible, but I was looking at the city names, and don't have much time to follow through right now. At first glance it looks as though the cities from the 28th and these share alot of the same first letters (9 or maybe even 10 out of 13?). Probably coincidence....

The Budapest entry, is that set in the future? E.g after the water colour?

I'm just thinking outloud really, In the water colour the fires are still burning, but this is talking about 'trying to start a new city out of the ashes of the old'.

My spec is that we have moved beyond the phase where the craigslist messages necessarily correspond with specific players. However, I also agree that the locations don't seem to be random:

Atlanta, Amsterdam, Asheville, Auckland
Bangalore, Buenos Aires, Burlington, Budapest
Cedar Rapids, Cleveland
Denver, Detroit, Delaware
Harrisonburg, Harrisonburg
Indianapolis
Little Rock, London
Miami, Maine, Montana
New Orleans, New York (East Village), New York (East Village)
Osaka, Orlando, Oklahoma City
Prague, Pittsburgh
St. Louis, Seattle, San Diego, Spokane, Sao Paulo
Washington, DC

EDIT: a couple of other observations from this most recent batch.

From Sao Paulo:
Quote:
There are hundreds of names. Anders, Barbara, Chorazos…

1) The names are A,B,C.. Is that a hint?
2) Chorazos is a Cthulhu cult: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cthulhu_Mythos_cults

Also, the Cthuvian chanting seems to be coming from the crowd at the tower. Is this the same tower in the SentryOutpost pic?

This is driving me crazy. I know there's something we're supposed to get, but I can't for the life of me figure out what it is.

At first, I thought if we got the order right, then the first letters of the cities would spell something out. I thought maybe the first lines of the subject lines as well.

I just. don't. get. it.

Does ordering the postings by the above list of cities yield anything? The quote from Sao Paulo would point to alphabetic(?) ordering... I'm thinking either the craigslist postings or perhaps the highlighted words?

Oh, São Paulo... Very Happy
I've replied (in-character, this is, as the "You" she addresses to in the craigslist message) to that posting, dropping some reference to alphabetic order and, since the post says "Me: wishing you had left your number", leaving my phone number (you never know...). Let's see if we get something sorted out, because, just as carmenmiranda said, I feel like we're missing something but I don't get it at all.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Not sure how to clear up the ambiguities on the New York and Harrisonburg postings... I'd be inclined to order them by date, however (most recent, first). Of course, I'm probably wrong, but I'm just throwing stuff out there. ^.^

Yeah I would probably put them in date order too!
