Level 10 is the long line of seemingly random letters, not the spectrum one.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Try shifting the alphabet by a number of letters in one direction - how many is up to you.

Hope that helps.

Here's a thought re. floor 27:

I think I'm beginning to understand what he's doing here!

Here's floor 27:

-------------------------------------
Need a hint? You'll need to think outside the box...but first you're going to need to find the box!
Floor 27

Bet you never would have guessed that one randomly. Here's one a little more cryptic.
|| N O S E | P ? ? | ? ? P F |

-----------------------------------------------

He is saying think outside the box, but you have to find the box. This reminds me of that "head down" clue from way back. He wants us to literally find another box on our computer screen!

I think that those letters are the first initials of a drop-down menu. N = New O = Open S= Save E =Exit

As for the pipes, notice when you click on a dropdown menu the choices are divided into groups separated by lines. That's probably what the pipes are for.

Maybe I'm not looking properly, but there seems to be a lot of possibilities. or maybe i have the wrong version of web browser. He also seems to be skipping some.

27

A few friends and I have been working on 27 for, like, 4 hours now.

We used the New, Open, Save, Exit idea... Ended up coming up with like...Page Setup, Print Preview, Print, and some other stuff.
Didn't work.

We also tried stuff that was similar, like control+n. Control+o. Control+s.

Yeah, we went with the "Nose pin head". Or "Nose ___ kopf".

Haven't figured out anything yet.

http://www.oneacross.com/cgi-bin/search_crypt.cgi?i=3&p0=&p1=+N+O+S+E+P+P+F+&s=Go+2
Keeps giving me new ones.

Gosshh.
This one's hard. Definitely harder than 14.

Floor 27

Here's the way I was thinking, there's no real logic to it but it's where I got to

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you rearrange the letters and ?s you can get NOP? P??S EF? just a thought, hasn't got me anywhere yet.

Okay. I am completely lost on 27. I've been working on it for a few hours but I simply cannot find it... so... PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IT IS??

Or at least post the link to that website, or whatever. Anything that will help, because I'm going crazy. Rolling Eyes

28...-.-;;

Wow. 27 was confusing, but in the end it seems so simple.
>_<spoiler> V, B -> C, Q -> ?, ? -> P, L -> ?, ? -> P

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I was thinking it could be about the keyboard...
Like CV, but B isn't next to C.

So then I thought it would be like...ABC, and what comes next.

So C ->, B -> C, Q -> W, O -> P, L -> ----- This is where I got stuck. You can't have a ;. So I thought about going back to a.

C ->, B -> C, Q -> [b]W
, O -> P, L -> A, O -> P.

But that didn't work.

>_< Too easy?...I guess?
