[Plot] The God Killer Murders

I only know about the folios OoG, but from what I'm seeing of this one, I think the God Killer might be a woman.

In the last stanza it reads, "A maternal copy with a different soul." So the Killer might look like Tara and won't be, or look like somebody else who is female and high up in DefenseCorp--like that senator from Blue District, though she wouldn't really fit into the rest of the folio's words.

In the deus-city.blogspot.com trailhead, Adam Brackin left a clue that led to his nostredame.blogspot.com journal. In that blog, he has posted both confirmed folio fragments as well as his commitment to go out and find the others.

I actually have my own take on the Tara connection. Personally I think that Jenna Jansen may actually be the daughter. Think about it like this. She had no known legal father which is why she was taken as a ward of the state. After she was made a ward of the state all of her records were completely wiped from the system. Chris has previously said that investigating the identity of the daughter is very dangerous and when I asked him to investigate Jenna Jansen he told me that it would be very dangerous for him to do so and it could result in him being disappeared. She also exists between two pillars, one is the government and the other is potentially the underground. Similarly Tara Mercer - the wife of the head of the communication corporation and several other corporations - has extensive skill at altering and wiping information as well as turning chips on and off, for which magic could be a metaphor thereby making her the Red Witch. Her position makes her ideal in seeking out Jenna because she could probably access erased information. This is why I do not fully expect Chris' connections to pan out in the search and that it will require Tara Mercer to find her.

At least that is my take on it and that is what makes sense to me.

All right. I guess I'll throw my speculation out... everyone can stare at me and beat me on the head, I guess.

Maybe--just maybe!--it's Tara Mercer.... or someone that she knows. Because this killer knows way too much about the chips and can get anywhere. Again, like Tara. She has too much power and time on her hands.

I've asked her what does she think about the killer--just making conversation with her. We'll see what comes out of it. If it's anything interesting, I'll put it on her thread.

As for that note, anybody notice that it targeted CULTURECorp, not DefenseCorp. So do we know anybody who would hate them in particular?

Again, I think I'm just stating things everyone knows or something, but I figured it'd be nice to be positive the thoughts were out here.

Culturecorp created the subcue chips, so anyone with a hatred of the chips would naturally target the source.
