On a new angle, does anyone know what the symbols are between the lines "Any god, I mark sacred" and "A masked cry adoring"? I assume they're a language of some sort, and I recognise them, but I can't remember for the life of me where I've seen them before.

Yeah I said that it was also supposed to of been found in turkey, with the link I posted:

 		Hmm. I've come back to comets again.

Apparently, there's quite a few apocalyptic theories about 2012 that involve comets. And there was that comet impact crater that was under the Antarctic that I mentioned earlier.

The Hebrew is interesting; one of the references I found for the comet impact was from 'The Bible Code', which is all about clues to the future held in the Bible, when in it's Hebrew version.

It's true that it is in ice, but if it's in Turkey I don't get the connection with Amundsen.

 		Strange idea coming up. Could this have something to do with Dan Brown ? The Illuminati are in the Da Vinci Code and he also wrote a book about a discovery in the ice on the North Pole I think it was.
And another book about cracking computer codes. Isn't there a computer game coming with the title Da Vinci Code ?

 		I was just hurling ideas about what could be found under the ice, linked with Knight Templar etc etc. The whole holy grail route.

I was also thinking that '4 lines 4 symbols' thing. Well obviously theres 4 lines of the 'poem' I was wondering if there were symbols hidden in these lines in the form of anagrams.

Dan brown came to mind for me too. In which case, I might just wet myself with glee.

Not a strange idea at all, actually. I couldn't help thinking the same thing. There's always computer games titled the 'Da Vinci Code' though.

Deception Point is the book about the Arctic, and it's got to do with comets and chondrules and stuff as well. The codes one was Digital Fortress, and the Illuminati were in Angels and Demons.

Going back to the Illuminati for a second, can anyone read/translate the bit in the top left? Is it Spanish?

The only actual symbol on the page in the one for infinity. Unless you count the numbers of 2012 as symbols.
