I didn't find that many things, but heres a list of things that could possibly be carried to one of the brothers.
wooden chair?
puppy, dog, labrador
coin
butterfly?
plant, flower?
sage?
sword, axe, crossbow, weapon?
I think the greenhouse needs more investigating.

Anyone wondering if the square hat has any significance?
Academic mortar probably. Aren't they all wearing one?
Also, it is graduation time, that would be considered a ceremony. Faculty are usually attired in caps and gowns as well as the students and wear hoods signifying their field of study and degree level.

I think the map is pretty much done now that we have the southernmost room. At least until someone gets through the flaming door, magic plants or golden doors.
Sorry coffeegirl, I'm still not exactly sure what you mean about diagonal hallways, heres the description of the hall south of the starting point.
Quote:
You find yourself in a long hallway leading off to several different rooms.
There are doors to the south, south-west, north-west, north-east, and south-east.
I did label the glowing doors though. Just tell me if theres anything else I should label , I'll add it. I think I'm gonna email it to Manse Master to see if he has any input.
I might also try to compile a list of items that can be picked up, since their names seem to be the important piece here. Seeing them all together might spark something for someone.
I was just confused about the directions...nevermind I was really tired at the time. The map looks great.

Someone should try axing the magical plants....maybe that'd work or look for a key in the garden as it wasn't really explored yet. It'd be easy to hide something there.

I sent Manse Master my map asking "Have I been listening well Master?"
He replied
Manse Master wrote:
Have you been listening? I see that you have been listening to me, but there's more. What I have said is not a complete picture, and you must have been listening to a voice in your head to fill in the gaps. But you have appeared to have listened to what I have said so far.
I'm satisfied with that, and quite happy the voices in my head have only told me to draw maps so far.

Wow, how has nobody (to my knowledge) thought of this before? Brilliant! Just wish that the Manse Master was accepting more... students? Disciples?
Also, remind me to steer clear of JohnnyCon as a player. As amusing as your continued dialog is to read, I can just imagine the puppet master going "Why won't you just accept that you're not a player!!?!?!?!"

I'd call them "active participants" (other than us passive ones who are meant to sit and listen. Okay, only to listen - he never asked us to take a seat.)
And people who might irritate you by not following your plan will always appear. As a PM you'd have to deal with them and it might even help you react to previously unexpected "active participant" ideas... (As in this case the MoC got the same map the participants do and can work out things.)
I just had an idea:
What about getting a plant, bringing it to "The Magnificent Letter-Remover" to get an "official" plan? (I doubt we could get a blue print, bring it to Brother "cut'n'paste" to make it a blueprint.)

I decided to call them either students or disciples after looking up what "Manse" actually meant.
I am a big fan of the "plant" == "plan" ... plan. It would be relatively difficult for the PM to really argue with that one. Unless they want to get creative/cheaty and give you plans for an ICMB or something. Not that an ICBM wouldn't be useful in getting past those plants...
And yeah... I'm usually the one trying to make PMs say too much when they decide to risk real-time chats. I'm well aware of the... subversive nature of some players. Heh.

Quote:
Help them to find the right words to say to me. Many have been wondering where others have treaded, performing the same actions to no avail.

I haven't had a reply from the Manse Master in a couple of days. I hope he hasn't gone on holiday or anything.
