I wonder if I was told to send names because there's no name associated with my email account? If your name comes up automatically, I don't suppose there's such a problem.

I'm glad you made it there and back ok Muffin! Sorry I wasn't much help - didn't get online much until I was already underway after four, by which time you'd already gone. The weather was terrible, not to mention the traffic on the M6, wasn't it? I came from Birmingham, in case you were interested, so not all that far from you! Smile

We picked ours up at 7.15 (more clock chiming), and apparently he had one envelope left then.

You - or somebody you trust - need to be outside the main entrance of the old amusement park, Pleasureland, on Thursday May 17th between 7pm and 7.30pm. There you will find your contact - a man wearing dark glasses. You must tell him a password.

This password is unique to you. It will only work once. Keep it to yourself or pass it onto one trusted accomplice in your stead. Do not pass it on for other people to re-use - they will not get tickets.

Your contact does not like to be crowded. If you see him talking to someone else, do not approach him. Wait until he is alone. Say only your password - do not engage him in conversation.

If you are under 16, make sure you are accompanied by an adult guardian. I will not be held responsible for your safety.

Your password is:

Good luck.

Sarah B - we must have missed you by seconds! Yeah, the M62 was dire - you were lucky you had a navigator Smile

Anyway, haven't seen this subject broached yet, but could we start getting some kind of idea who's going on Saturday / Sunday from here? If someone with wiki knowledge could put together a page for people to add their name / username to, that would be great. I suspect we will get more info on what is going to happen, but it would be nice to be able to have a few numbers in my phone.

We managed to get in a hotel in Blackpool - hows everyone else doing for late accomadation?

Well, I'm not personally going (I have to work, which is miserable!) but my boyfriend Will and brother Stephen will be there on the Sunday. Are we planning some kind of way to recognise one another?

I'm really gutted I can't go!

Dammit, apparently I was one of the first to answer Wednesday's puzzle but I didn't get the email in time to offer my tickets to anybody (had exam and revision all day).

Sorry for robbing someone of their chance at tickets Sad I'll be better behaved next time.

Hey everyone,

I just got the email telling me I won some tickets from today's challenge. Unfortunately I can't make the pick-up in Preston tomorrow evening to collect the tickets because of work. Are there any kind Lancastrians out there who could pick them up for me? Please send me a PM if so. Smile

Hi,

Just had an email saying I've got tickets http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/images/icons/icon7.gif
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/images/icons/icon7.gif and just trying to work out if I can get up there.
Can someone PM if they are able to help me out by picking up the tickets or if they would like to go if I can't get up there.

Nicola

You were one of the first to succeed in Thursday's challenge. That earns you the right to collect a pair of Big Weekend tickets tomorrow night.

You - or somebody you trust - need to be at the fountain outside the National Football Museum, Preston, on Friday May 18th between 7pm and 7.30pm.

THE TICKET WILL BE IN YOUR NAME. IF YOU WILL NOT BE ATTENDING THE FESTIVAL IN PERSON, YOU MUST TELL ME THE FULL NAME OF WHOEVER IS GOING IN YOUR PLACE NOW.

IF YOUR ORIGINAL EMAIL CONTAINED ONLY A USERNAME, I NEED TO KNOW YOUR REAL NAME. PLEASE MAIL BACK TO CONFIRM.

Your password is:

Good luck.

I can't make it, so who can collect the tickets, and go to the festival on my behalf? I expect to hear full details of the events!!
PM Me

-Russ
