Mines a Vernon Kay quote!

I'm now very worried - where the hell do I park?

Apparently there's a car park near the Town Hall. It's a short stay, according to my boyfriend, who has done the research. We're in the car on our way now-ah, the joys of mobile internet on the phone!

The M6 is a nightmare, by the way. Sad

Just solved the 3rd puzzle (it's good to have an easy one, i'm usually crap at puzzles, but play this game for the backstory!) and sent a mail.

I probably won't be able to go to the place though, seeing as i live in Devon, so if anyone wants to take my tickets (if i get them, that is), just PM me...

Anyone else noticed that the pickup for tomorrow has now changed to Southport.
Obviously they had to swop them over for some reason.

Well, i've picked up the letter. It was raining a bit miserably in Bolton, even our third power friend was hiding under the porch at the Town Hall. I'm thoroughly soaked through myself - currently sat in Knutsford services trying to dry off!

Didn't spot anyone else around looking conspicuous, but it was raining and i was wet and just wanted to get back to the car before the shopping centre closed, so possibly wasn't looking that carefully. If anyone spotted me (I was with my boyfriend; i'm short, long dark hair with a dark jacket, and he is taller, wearing a light coat and an Indiana Jones style hat) do let me know!

According to said boyfriend, who did the handover, he was a friendly bloke, told him that they might need him on Saturday and to email the names of those using the tickets tonight or tomorrow. Short and sweet, and all that.

So, any other reports?

significant change to our encounter was that YOU are required to email to confirm the names of (both?) people using the tickets to the beeb...intresting...

I have to email Cyrus, not the BBC themselves. Were you not told that yesterday? Interesting.

Just back from Bolton! Got there at 18:45 and met CaptainDedEye (thanks for the help in finding the place, Danny!). We saw others standing round, but didn't approach anyone straight away.

Bang on 19:00 (the chimes were ringing) our agent turned up. The people there moved forward. Also nice to meet Mattyjh, Mindez & SilentlyBroken!! Everyone there was PPC - no Radio 1 converts.

I haven't heard anything about informing Cyrus my full name or anything - but then I haven't checked my email yet since 16:00 (its at work!)

It was a 4.5 round trip, and pretty bad weather & traffic, but still interesting!
