not sure what to make of that... the source isn't the same 'style' as the other in-game sites (let alone the art design)... based on the head/foot spaces, it looks like 12 lights on top, and 12 lights on the bottom, thus December 25 would zero hour... may just be a fan-made site.. *shrug* we'll see

This is a very strange page...I don't quite like the feel of it. It seems cheap. Anyway, has anyone else shaken the snow globe? After a few moments of shaking it begins to snow, a stick figure of a skier moves slowly across the bottom of the globe, and what appears to be an image of the Joker's face in the style of Tim Sale appears very faintly in the background. The borders of the box that the globe is in is frustratingly small. I almost hope this isn't an official page...it's a bit disappointing so far.

I didn't see that faint image in the background of the globe. It was not there last time I shaked the globe. I am wondering if more of the image will show as the count-down get's closer. I can barely make it out.

It seems to be connected to this myspace group... it all looks fanmade to me.

The second video seems to be connected to this page as well

As predicted, now there are 13 lights, picture is becoming clearer, showing Joker in a Christmas hat, in a chair decorated with lights similar to the countdown bulbs.
Videos are interesting, 'Amanda Leggatt" as on the abduction poster worked on "Batman Begins" as an art dept. assistant. I'll check back at Xmas to see whats up.

Yup, that Joker image is ripped straight from the pages of The Long Halloween's Christmas issue. Everything we've seen so far has been original material, so I have even more doubt that this is a fan-made page, but it should be fun anyway. Looking forward to seeing what happens on the 25th, and to figuring out what the bloody hell that skier is doing there.

I haven't noticed anyone post about "Betty's House of Pies" yet. Unfortunately, I called it, got the voice mail, and as I was leaving a message, it hung up on me...

And all I wanted was an Egg Nog Cream Pie...

Email

If you Email the page it says this:
Hi,
look, I'm sorry but the campaign office isn't open yet. I'm only here to sign for all the bumper stickers and tshirts coming in from the printers. Then I've got to unpack all those boxes so it's going to be a while. I think the real staff will in around 12:10 or :12:15, you know, just in time to send me out to bring'em lunch. If you come back then, I'm sure someone will be able to help you.

Vernon
I'm unavailable at 12:10-12:15 AM or PM anyone else here got an idea?

Edit: I changed the time on my computer to 12:10 and sent my email again. I got this message:

They've got me hanging Christmas lights now, can you believe it? This isn't why I went to law school, you know what I mean? I know it wasn't Harvard like our candidate, but come on! Christmas???
I know we're all anxious to start our careers, fresh out of school and everything. But really, they've got me hanging friggin Christmas lights!
Look, I do thank you for your interest in the Harvey Dent campaign and I will send you some literature just as soon as this nonsense is over and they let me get back to work.

As far as The Dark Knight ARG has been going, what's the most recent clue and/or website? I wanna start looking into it, but I'm not sure what information is old or has been solved yet.

Cute update on http://friendsofharveydent.org/?
Uses same "do not open until Dec 25" as on the package in the e-mail.

Good find on the e-mail there, dode1000 Smile

On a personal note, I hope the joker pinches the head off the annoying little ski dude Razz

Quick Question: Has anyone checked on the Gotham Victims Advocate Foundation lead fully yet? I called the number on the website and was asked to leave a message. I'm not quite sure if it's fresh or not, but if so, here's a link.

I sent them an email. I got this back:

Quote:
We have received your email and we hope to send you a more personal
response as soon as possible. GVAF is a volunteer organization and the
consequences of the Fear Toxin attack in The Narrows have led to an
overwhelming number of requests for assistance. We are attempting to
respond as quickly as possible.

Gotham City Services has set up special programs for assistance with
housing or for assistance with symptoms associated with the Fear Toxin
attack.

Again, our apologies for our inability to respond at this time.

Looks like another site waiting to be of use.
