i went with the whole putting the quarter moons together idea, but the problem is that the quarter part of the moon is on the right in the clue, but on the left when you splice the two lines together in either direction. ive tried every mirroring combination i can think of, but no luck. and, no 5th number either way. has anyone been doing the same thing?
have you got four numbers if so try mirroring them let me know how you do i havnt got any numbers i was studing the lines of the map and trying to mirror them let me know if im going down the wrong road
yeah i tried mirroring them every which way here are the combinations i tried:
3602 0459
9540 2063
2063 0459
9540 3602
3602 9540
0459 2063
2063 9540
0459 3602
im pretty sure thats every combination possible, and none of those has 5 digits so i think im on the wrong track. i considered the half moons, but the clue is definitely all combinations of quarter moons and none of the numbers on the half moon lines produce 5 digits... unless im wrong? i just realized the bottom half moon line also intersects a quarter moon line im going to see if there are any combinations there that make sense... unless im completely down the wrong path. any suggestions anyone?

Well it's clear that we must have 1XXXX E coordinate... and I think even 10XXX - so I'm trying to find any clue to take 1-0 or 10, using the map...

this is crazy right before it started i sat down with the map and put the quarter moon lines together and got 3602 and 0459, and figured the clue would be a moon that was half black with a white crescent, and half white with a black crescent. how is this possible?!

AN IDEA! Maybe it's a wrong way, but: the line from the quarter-moon (top-right of the map) has symbols on its' line we haven't met before. BUT the line devides them!!! see: the first symbols parts into arabic 2 and chineese 8... (summary is 10 by the way)
Who thinks I'm crazy?

thats the idea i think someone found a few weeks ago that if you combine the two quarter moon lines the top half of one and the bottom of the other make symbols were familiar with. if you do it in both directions the what i came up with was 3602 and 0459. where are you getting the chinese 8?

Is anyone even able to get in now? Either someone already won and they locked us out or the IT dept is off for the holiday...

i think thats the key, but the two things stumping me are:
theres a fifth digit, and by default it has to be a 1.
the moons in the clue are mirror images of what you get when you put the lines together on the map.
so no matter how many combinations of numbers i mirror, im still not going to get that extra one. should i be more focussed on combining the numbers from the half moon lines with the quarter moon lines sabator?

PS: but I've got 3602 06 59 (the chineese 6)
and by the way, I'm pretty sure it has to be posted FROM moon pics
(2063 9560)

...does it really have to be a 1??
I mean we're headed for "world's End" which technically isn't of this world...and if you've seen the movie
you'll notice
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
that when they change worlds they flip upside down...and the moon is...UPSIDE DOWN

good catch with the 6! so many of these characters are one number one direction, and when you flip or mirror them are a different number in a different character the other way. i tried it as a 4 because i think in brahmi or the language that was on his torso it was a 4 rightside up. How do we know which of these we flip upside down or not?

I've been trying the same thing as trinitytron, I haven't gotten any errors, just Wrong Coordinates. When I first saw the 0459 I assumed we'd be putting a 1 in front of it, but it seems it doesn't work.

I found a way to get 9 digits
only problem is they don't work but I think the theory is sound
if you add the 2 1/2 moon lines together you get
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
8722 + 5584 = 14556
just got to figure out the 1/4 and 3/4 moon lines now nothing yet - having so much trouble matching them to anything
and no its not been locked out
you should have had a volvo email today - mine says semi's happen at 2pm on Wed 30th (dunno if that player or local time) if player time then I'm stuffed no access to computer for 6 hours after puzzle goes live
