 		newbie
so i just started looking into BG today and i notice that it seems everyone it at a brick wall. tho one thing im noticing is that is seems no one took any interest in these two people whos myspace i came across(/deathally and /nyteruler). anyone know anything about them?

anyway i was just throwing something out there trying to get involved... i recently had a neck surgery and am bed ridden so im trying to keep myself occupied.

 		It's not just any brick wall. It's the freaking Great Wall of China that has been ran into. How the heck is our only contact in this thing gonna up and vanish and leave us with some weird message. Do I have to fly to New York and look up N. Jones' guy Ric Gardner in the yellow pages? While I'm there I could call 411 and get a listing for Ru-Mi or Brother Chadster. Hey! PM(s), you could throw us a bone. I desperately want to see this through to the end, but not if it is gonna be five years from now. If it is gonna take five years then at least keep me drawn in with like a video of Eddie and N. Jones fighting to the death with butter knives atop a high rise building or a live drop or e-mail chain or something. Sorry to do this here guys but if I'm gonna throw a temper tantrum I want an audience(anxiety issues). Evil or Very Mad Embarassed

if it were that we hadnt solved enough puzzles yet, dont you think that they would still be logging in... waiting? but ultimately it looks like they just popped smoke and hauled ass without telling anyone. these douches are like that buddy everyone has. you go out drinking and then halfway through the night he gets a cab home, but doesnt tell anyone. honestly, these guy's reputation has done a nosedive. coming out wit a game like this is like trying to sell something you dont even have possession of.

So... You giving up?
Tell you what... Let's get everyone to verbally give up and quit... and then they can use this space for something else. We could have a discussion on crochetting or something.

WE... as a collective mind have missed SOMETHING... I sure as sunshine don't know what it is... But we've missed something. Yeah, no PM and little to no help, gamejacks, brick wall clues, and lack of interest among so many other things have really put a damper on this game like a hurricane over New Orleans. But....

I'm determined. I want to see this thing through... I want the next clue or puzzle to lead somewhere... I want the PM to get himself involved again and put us on the right path. We are be bewildered, but we are not lost.

WE have flogged our guts out going over every tiny little thing thats been given to us. Its not fair to say we have missed something, it is however fair to say that the PM isnt very good. And doesnt give us anything.

This is more than likely a artistic project, which we have no control over. None of the 'clues' that have been shown to us have ever lead anywhere, to the point where net threats had to give us the answers.

I am checking in on this every day, and I'm not going to stop checking in because I want to see what happens, but seriously, I really dont believe its us that have missed anything. If people knew the time and effort that some people have put into this, then those people would of been knighted for bravery by now Laughing

Embarassed There I go, trudging on toes... I appologize. I know you've spent many hours, days, months in time... (and I'm the "new guy") and it was not fair for me to jump at anyone.

At least you're determined. And you right, after reading all that I could, I don't think you've left no stone unturned. I was hoping to provoke the PM to throw us another bone, not the wrath of those who have got this ARG this far. Nine months with little to no recognition and being minkf Cursing ed along the way will take it's toll.

Once again, I appologize... And offer my services to you (bowing towards you... as only a southern gentleman can)

 		I think what is frustrating is that we have a new batch of characters but we have very little in the way to identify them. I mean we have a religious girl, a blonde hair party girl, etc but there is little in the video to direct us to them.
DarkAlly and NyteRuler play a bigger part in the more clues video but DarkAlly has been inactive on myspace for some time (unless of course they have all moved over to facebook or something else)
A lot of "clues' were solved by Netthreats and we even had characters/pms come into the forums and post clues. We have had a game jack which has never been denied or recognised by the PMs and we have had some very very strange interactions in this game and for those of us who have been following this for some time, it has become diffcult to know who to trust.
One clue that led us to Eddie's rant video was discovered through a posting on the Drudge report, it was the most obscure clue ever!
So please dont think we have given up it has just been one hell of a rollercoaster ride and more often than not has left us Bang Head

watching all the videos again, i cant help but feel that they were made by Nietzsche Jones. as far as i can tell, jones looks genuine, but i will check with the royal collage of arts inscription database to be sure. the cameras used in the films were a mix between handycams, isight and webcams. i dont buy that eddie is computer illiterate just because he has a b+w camera. his camera format, the resolution, luminosity and the fake dv tape artifact-effect all point to videos' production ideals. of course that doesnt prove or disprove anything. the effects used, and the way they are used are 'feel' like jones.


some things:

jones' website has been online since july 4th 2007.
pop57 who host his site has been online since april 15th 2005 and has been updated twice since then, in 2007, both with the update "nothing to see here, move along". before that there was a email link (infoSPLATpop57.com)

jones is obviously connected to bg, but to what extent?

does anyone else think this whole thing is like Gibson's Pattern Recognition? anyone want to run a steganographic analysis of any of the pictures, or video frames? the videos are mostly in flash format. if we could find the original video format before encoding, there might be further clues.

 		What has always confused me, is why he uses the real name Richard Ramsdell. Where anyone who saw this game could easily dig up his personal contact info. It strikes me as very odd. And also very foolish.
I guess its just a waiting game again.
