And I just replayed the original ransom video and today's "press conference" -- is it just me, or does Grant's voice sounds very similar to the kidnapper's? I know the kidnapper sounds "tough," but they still sound alike to me. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm seeing connections where there aren't any.

No i totally agree. I mean, his voice does sound like it, but with a little work on the voice in "editing" they can lower the voice to how the kidnapper sounds. I'm beginning to believe Grant is DEFINITELY behind this.

Well, this has been proposed as more than likely if not absolutely definite by certain forum members several pages back... but there are supposedly
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
two kidnappers (identity unknown -- the bootleggers?) and one murderer (TBA in a future email - but probably Grant) who will be apprehended at the end of the game.


So that still leaves us with the question of who they are, but is it really important? The rules state that "You will need to determine the name of the person responsible for the kidnapping and identify the address where Andrew Goodis is being held." It's pretty clear that it's only one person.

it's quite possible

would be the person considered "responsible" for the kidnapping but other kidnapped him...just like charles manson is considered responsible for murders he had other people commit for him

 		a couple of people a few pages back (i can't find it now or i'd quote it) came up with the idea that andrew and max have staged this whole kidnapping and are going to split the randsom with frank. anyway, i'm not sure about that, but i was thinking that maybe that's what frank is referring to when he says that "goodis is a fraud" in the video today. he knew the kidnapping was staged but he became unhinged from stress or whatever and couldn't keep his mouth shut about it. why else would he call andrew a fraud? i know it's a totally different direction, what do you all think?
