Addresses as an Image

The tutorial DOES specify a JPEG, but perhaps stegoarchive.com might have more information. The tutorial also points out that if PMs want you to desteg an image, it's usually pretty obvious (how? doesn't say).

I have to say, I must have been living under a rock all these years. The things I'm learning are amazing! Well worth the time and effort, and the 50 cents payoff that I'll get from Applebee's! LOL

LMAO - I never cared for Applebee's anyway Wink (don't tell the PMs LOL)

Yes I just ammended my post - I have to be gone several hours today but will play with the potential Steganography of this image as soon as I can...or maybe someone will beat me to the punch LOL

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Either works.

the thing they throw
out of the van

The thing that is thrown out of the van in the kidnapping footage seems to be a belt or like, a cloth belt from like a robe or something. if you look at it a stop it a couple times as it's being thrown out, it's long, and when it gets thrown out, it hits the ground at one end, and bends and then is completely laying on the ground.

just thought i'd share. Smile

Steganography
Well......

If the file is indeed steg'ed there would be a password - so will try some stuff but so far none of the known pws bring up anything Rolling Eyes

Just an FYI for anyone else wanting to fool around with this possibility....

Some of us are actually serious about doing this ourself, and considering there are prizes involved, which are divided up the more people that win, I really don't think you ought to be giving out answers to the puzzles. Discussing the videos names of drugs etc is fine, but giving the Answers to puzzles is ridiculous. Its down right cheating, cheapens the contest, and hurts each and every true winner of the contest. Its bad enough the puzzles are so easy that probably the prize money will be worthless, but we don't need everyone in the world getting it because you keep posting the answers.
If you solve the puzzle keep the answer to yourself.
If you can't solve the puzzle, do the right thing and give up, don't come here looking for help.

Angry, did you think you were going to win the $25,000 all by yourself? This forum is just a drop in the bucket, buddy.

When you T9.... SATCHELTON...satchel, savage, patch

FUNERAL...funds

HOME...good

[edit - spoilers for PUZZLE solves, please. If you spoiler a puzzle solve, please state what it is you are spoiling so folks will skip it if they don't want to see the answer. Posts that are completely spoilered are pointless. Thanks - kona]

kidnapping neighborhood

Ok...I am going to say something here, and it probably doesn't mean a dang thing.

Considering Andrew's apparent extremely high job position as described at Akarm, wouldn't you assume that he would live in a more affluent neighborhood than the one he was kidnapped from...unless that wasn't his neighborhood.
If...it WAS his neighborhood, why didn't his neighbors on the street seem to know who he was?
If....it WASN'T his neighborhood, why was he walking around there in the first place and where was his car.

christina said in one of the videos that she found an e-mail from sonia to andrew that told him to meet her somewhere for some unknown reason, and that he got kidnapped a few blocks (i think it was) from his house

Future Emails

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In the future emails, right after Christina watches the security feed for the date we give her, the kidnappers are dead. I have read in this forum from people that saw this video before it was pulled, they saw two men in Andrews office. I'm thinking this would mean that the kidnappers are at Akarm, since they are found dead right after Christina watches the security feed. That IS where the cops would go right away. And I assume that where there's kidnappers, they are kidnapees. Of course this still dosen't explain the 22hr thing.

I said that several pages ago... I remember the video saying he parked his car "a few blocks away from his house" or something to that affect. Why???? I'm lazy, I like to get that spot right in front. Or better yet, my driveway!! That is definitely something that will be of significance.

He would do this if he was meeting Sonia on the sly.........because he was going to tell her what was going on about the Freevira fiasco and he didn't want to be in a public place where the meeting would be obvious. Close to his house he could explain why he was in the neighborhood. We don't know where he was walking to. It might have been a park or something similar, but less obvious than say a restaurant. I'd say someone got wind of the meeting, knew he was gonna spill the beans and nabbed him.

okay while we keep throwing theroies out... Sonia set Andrew up.. max has something to do with it.. Maybe he got caught up in Drugs or something he needed Money for... Notice they did say they were "hired".. then decides to change the "game", making sense that Max and Sonia are in on it.

22hrs

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Would it make sense that if Grant kills the kidnappers and takes Andrew with him to another location on the 6th day, he would still demand the 2 million with (about) 22hrs left in the week before Andrew is to be killed?
