Sorry, but if you glance upwards you'll see Randomeis' post a few spaces above has that page already covered. And thus our first Trout has been delivered in this thread. It happens. We can all laugh about it later.

As for finding sites before they go live? That's what happens around here. All in good natured fun (and education, both for us and the PMs running the games).

Naughty, I don't really think we should be hacking things...this is meant to be played fair and square...seeing as it has not even begun officially yet.

It's not really hacking when it's the third link on a basic google search (cached).

Keep in mind that there's no guarantee that wasn't just a testing site and that things won't change.

But, you're right. Those playing should play fair and square. However, what's fair & square is up to the individual and the official rules. Some will feel the need to dig deeper and further but if past experience is of any value, those that do so won't have that huge an advantage over those that play more casually. There likely won't be very many highly technical challenges. So, enjoy the story and the puzzles and best of luck to all!

Catherwood -- When I first read your post I thought you said "certain breach" and I was kinda excited but then I realized it said curtain. I think I saw that too, the resume of the actor that plays Grant Tenbrook?

I noticed some of the drug acronyms are backwards words, or almost words: scared, "bouger", bedwet, fleabag...

My main reason for posting. I've never done an arg with a prize. Does everyone still work on it as a team? Or just up until the final day?

I usually find answers on the board, not post them, so I was just curious... Smile

Also, I noticed on the akarm site there is a picture of a calculator with the number 95423. I tried it on some of the backdoor links. On some I get a message saying restriced access. I doubt this number is actually a correct login... now I'm getting the same message no matter what I type. Maybe it has been changed because nothing happened before when I tried. I thought maybe it meant the id is 5 digits, but probably not.

This game's prize will be shared equally between all the correct entries, so I see no reason not to have a team effort through to the end

What we know so far

Ok this is my first post, I am really getting into these types of challanges, I just want to make a summary of what we know so far for reference.

Cached Link to Messages: http://216.239.59.104/search?q=cache:Dr9lNkjLNVkJ:www.savemyhusband.com/m8_admin/message_edit.php

Akarmcorp secret backdoor area: http://akarmcorp.com/dir.html
Code for backdoor is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"17789097443B"

Websites:
http://www.voicedailynews.com/ = Local News Agency
http://www.zendorel.com/ = Group that owns Akarmcorp, Grant Tenbrook is a board member
http://soniahaswell.blogspot.com/ = Sonia will be helping you later on in the challange, Works for Akarmcorp. This is here blog, She gets fired for helping you
http://www.ihaveenemies.com/ = Unknown for now

These numbers were on Andrews phone
25276 73287489 =
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
akarm security
, Thanks to catherwood for this.

Akarmcorps new medicine for the common cold, In the messages it mentions periodic table/ elements. So this is a very likely anagram.
FREEVIRA
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
= FE River = Iron River

Some Emails which will be used:
Det.RogerKinlanSPLATsavemyhusband.com = The detective investigating the abduction
MaxSPLATsavemyhusband.com = Christina's son Max, Who is a computer genius.
ChristinaSPLATsavemyhusband.com = Christina's email, Andrews wife.
MazSPLATsavemyhusband.com = Sonia Haswells email.

Ok from all this info I think that someone who is an employee of Akarmcorp for some reason does not want the Freevira drug to be releaseed or want to still the formula for it, So he/she abducts Andrew Goodis who is the only person who knows the drugs formula?
We will probably find out who did it by comparing the fingerprint we will get off the Detective to the one on file in the backdoor area.

Thanks for reading, Hope it helps

Actually, if you don't use "predictive" text BUT just use what i call "phone code" ...
Code:
1234567890
-ADGJMPTWQ
-BEHKNRUYZ
-CFILOSVZ-

... you might find a better answer:

I was wondering how you knew all that information... but I think I just found out how. Kinda ruins the fun finding all the messages beforehand.

For the phone messages, phonespell.org works pretty well.

I wonder how fingerprints.com will be used? It doesn't look fake...

Edit: I want to ask before I post this. I'm probably not the only one, but if I were to have found other videos, should I post the link?

I kinda found all the videos... Shocked

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Just rename the folder:
http://savemyhusband.com/player1.1

1.2, 2, 3, 4,... 7.1, 7.2 -7.4, 8 etc

DONT LOOK AT 9 if you want to actually solve the game.

If you email Sonia (sonia.haswellSPLATakarmcorp.com) as Christina tells you, she automatically replies:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Hello. I was so happy to hear from you.
I'm doing whatever I can to find Andrew, and I've been keeping up with the investigation.

Regarding your email, the first thing that came to my mind when I heard "Akarm Security" was that Andrew's talking about the live security camera feed at Akarm. I know for a fact that the USER ID number needed to get into the video feeds is: 17789097443B. I still have an old email from Andrew where he used it to get in, but there was a trick to finding where to enter it. He showed me once, but I can't for the life of me remember. I think it might be somewhere in the "About Akarm" section. It's some weird hidden link. I just know when you get to the right prompt and enter this number, it unlocks the videos, but you'll have to find where to enter it.

Thanks for getting in touch. Everyone's so suspicious of me because of that email - but it wasn't me. Anyhow, it feels good to be able to help in all this.

By the way, the Akarm receptionists told me that Frank Caluori had worked at Akarm until recently, and his sister was a volunteer as a test subject for Freevira.

Good luck,
Sonia

In most of the videos they are vague about the puzzle answers so there will be stuff for us to solve still. I feel guilty finding them... if you guys think I should delete this I will.
