call Andrew
Did you call yet?

Did anyone get to the new cell phone number and try to call it? All he says is "Andrew. Leave a message." I was going to leave some odd message like, "this is Dr. Smith calling, and your test results are back, yes indeed, you have the clap...." Laughing but I just hung up. What are we supposed to tell him?

On the sports page in voice daily news there is a colomn on the right with what seems to be scoreboards for upcoming games. Those same first three cities are also in Nebraska.

There is no pleasantville in Nebraska...rather pleasant valley

Pleasantville in unincorperated, and has a pop. less than 20. It won't be on most maps. It's southwest of Bassett, NE.

Also towns in NJ
Considering that all times are in EST, and the fact that a couple of people have had theories that the location is in the Northeast, I think New Jersey is a pretty good bet.

However,,,,,,, these are also generic towns. Springfield from the Simpsons, Pleasantville is from some movie with Reese Withersppn & Tobey Maguire. And there is a Columbus in almost every state.

If they're supposed to live anywhere, I believe that they live in either New Jersey or Mississippi because the specific organizations to which Goodis belonged called "Friends of the Library" and "Green Sprouts Garden Club" mentioned in the VDN article are both in Taylorsville, MS and places in New Jersey. New Jersey also has all three towns (but with Pleasantville spelled correctly) and not San Roberto. Searching for San Roberto on Google Maps only yielded the result San Roberto Reggio di Calabria, Italy. Might this be any sort of clue? Just thought I'd throw in what I haven't seen discussed yet.

Anytown, USA

I'm very confused by the extended discussion of the town that the Goodises live in... when they ask for Andrew's location, I'm assuming it's going to be something like the basement of the cinema or Akarm, not what town he's in. It strikes me that they've tried to make the location as generic as possible. Am I missing something, here?

we don't know if you're missing something or not...i think that's why people are trying to figure out where they may live to see if there is something behind it, not necessarily to find out his exact location

Yes the ceiling in the pic you linked to IS a drop ceiling. (He/She knows that celings are UP not on the wall lol.)

Look at this wikipedia entry.

I think your right on that one, I don't believe that the name of the town carries any significants to the final answer. They would have made the name of the town obvious by now if it was, like on the voice daily news site. however the general region they are in may be significant. There are a lot of references to a sea and a volcano. It could mean nothing though. I wouldn't look too deep into this, they said in the "how to play" part of the savemyhusband site that all the info we need will be from sites they send us to. and theres still 60% of the game to play. I'm just trying to organize everything and put it in the most useful order right now.
