Re: Dragomir Teodorescu

That's what I was thinking.. The time thing seems to be really big... the article in the Voice Daily News and the anagram.. It's definitely ahead..but I think it's worth thinking about.

We know that Dragomir Teodorescu has got to be an anagram. I was looking at the Voice Daily News and the article there states that a cell phone blew up and hurt the girl while text messaging. The mother says "what if the cellphone would have blown up near her ear?" If you Decode Dragomir Teodorescu
You get
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Goodis to Cure Eardrum. Do you think something happens to one of the kidnappers? Clearly the article is there to warn about a possible problem with cell phones. Could there be an explosion with a cell phone? etc... Just a thought.[spoiler]

Perhaps they have a timer on a cell phone that is set to go off and blow where ever he is at. Hence the 22 hours to find him.

(I know, this is skipping ahead)

Window theory.......
Are we just going in circles here???

eeeek wrote:
Ok, first of all, the "window" being at different lengths from the floor I believe is inaccurate - it appears to be a "perspective shot" - note how the floor gets more narrow toward the back. (and yes, I cropped the picture again so I apparently need to disclaim that in advance...) Laughing

See the attached for an example - this is not an uncommon type thing in the world of photography at all - over thinking that positioning is merely spinning wheels...

Now as to what the "window" thing is - what about a dumbwaiter to a storage area? It is plausible in conjunction with the restaraunt theory...?

Ok, I was thinking about this earlier. WHen you go to the movies and you walk down the hallway to the actual theater, the hallway is sloped for handicap accessibility (or whatever). As you go down the hallway they have upcoming movie posters in little light-up frames. The movie theater is being closed down for renovations and the place he's in is obvious need of repair.....

Anyone????????? What do y'all think??? (I need to get a job LOL)

 hello!
savemyhusband

you all realize that the winners will split the money, right? a team effort probably isn't the smartest way to go about this, unless you want $5 a piece in the end.

I totally agree. No where else has been mentioned that would be vacant. Anywhere else they would be seen by employees.

I AGREE in fact I think the Cinema idea is the best so far. If you look at the article in the newspaper
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"The Wellrock Cinemas have been open for 16 years and a recent donation push brought in over 25 thousand dollars to be put towards renovating the old structure that stands in the heart of town". Is it just a coincidence that a "RECENT DONATION" brought over 25 THOUSAND DOLLARS (same prize money)... Who was the donation from?

we aren't in it for the money honey

it's all for the love of the game! We are well aware that we will probably end up with a $5 gift certificate to Applebee's IF we get it all right. We just HAVE to play the game ...it's too much fun not to share & help each other out.

Christine said in the beginning that Andrew had propsed to her with the anagram on that napkin. She said it meant "til death do us part"

One thing about that seems odd to me. She says that the anagram is "til death do us part".. but it's actually "until death do us part"

it probably means nothing though.. but it still bugs me since it's not accurate. although for "til death do us part".. could be an anagram for "a postulated third"...... so, we know that there's 2 kidnappers. (one person had to be driving the van, the other one grabbing Andrew) but there must be someone involved who wasn't there when he was kidnapped. Like suspected someone from Akarm...

I think it's been mentioned before, but the wording is probably a plug for the Court TV show of the same name.

[edit - we like to save "spoiler" code for puzzle answers - thanks - kona]

That isn't an anagram that comes from that name.. there is only one "u" in the name. Just like Fe River wasn't an anagram for FreeVira like peole had thought.. because there was still a left over "a".

I think someone is making up fake things to try to throw others off.. and then posting it here. Don't take everyone's word here for truth. Check it out for yourself to see if it fits!

Unfortunately, tis not a theatre. I worked in one, and neither the projection booth nor the hall/path leading to it even remotely resemble that. Still like the idea of the funeral home, because the light seems to reflect off the walls, like that enamel paint places use for walls that frequently get messy & need to be wiped down.
