It's an odd bit of architecture. Seems palacial in a haphazard way and kind of old-world. There appear to be two crystal? spires above what might ba a main entrance.

I thought it almost looked like some sort of computer chip. You know those pictures you see of close-ups that make things look like something else. Confused Yeah, I confuse myself.

I've been all over Google Earth trying to find a match. I thought I had it when I entered the Decimal value for "SKY2" (83 75 89 50), but just another dead end.
It might be another decimal value I haven't thought of rather than a longitude/latitude though.

Edit: tried Hex value for SKY2 (53 4b 59 32), and sky2 (73 6b 79 32) also.

I tried playing around with the values for the margins in the source, due to the odd value of "8" on one of them. There is a possible "TH" in it, but realistically, it's probably just how the layout worked out for the page creator. Can anyone think of landmarks that are/can be referenced by initials? Like V.C. for Vatican City.

Also, 1920 x 679 pixels for the image is so odd for a computer screen. Seems more like a camera resolution.

I think your answer will be a latitude and longitude, of wherever that place is. Not that I know where it is, but that's beside the point. Smile

EDIT: Is it a theme park? There seem to be big gates at the front... reminds me a bit of Universal Studios in Florida.

Digging in the source reveals this:

Quote:
function enigma(x)
{
switch(x) {
case 1:
alert("A=65");
break;
case 2:
alert("Donald & Bettye");
break;
case 3:
alert("007");
break;
case 4:
alert("You are in");
break;
case 5:
alert("You know my name");
break;
case 6:
alert("I was the first to dig here");
break;
case 7:
alert("KRAP YELHCTELB");
break;
case 8:
alert("No more clue");

break;

Bletchley Park was the main code breaking establishment for the British during WWII.

Bletchley Park was the main code breaking establishment for the British during WWII.

So, we're agents solving cases, apparently.
The numbers appear to be page hits for each of the cases.
For the clues:
Case 1 is a reference to Decimal/ASCII equivalents
Case 2 is a reference to Donald and Bettye Harden who cracked the Zodiac Killer's cryptogram
Case 3 is James Bond's MI6 Agent Number
Case 7 is Bletchley Park

Kinda feels like we got to the login and lost the trail for the "cases", though.

A=65, Donald & Bettye, 007, You are in, You know my name, I was the first to dig here, KRAP YELHCTELB, No more clue

Okies, so far we solved the first code through ASCII, so A=65, mext we had the zodiac code, hence Donald & Bettye, then the building ties with Bond. that covers the first 3. We're left with "You are in, you know my name, I was the first to dig here, Bletchley Park, no more clue (s).

So who dug first at Bletchley Park?

I think the list of enigmas with numbers shows how many people have got that far. So, this is a way of tracking whether people have got ahead of you yet or not! Laughing

Quote:
STATUS LOG
ENIGMA 1 4437
ENIGMA 2 1588
ENIGMA 3 970
ENIGMA 4 954
ENIGMA 5 222
ENIGMA 6 0

Also, if there are only hints up to 7, that suggests that the others (8-D) are possibly not up yet.

That was probably spectactularly unhelpful, but I thought I'd chip in anyway. Wink

EDIT: Further thought. If I'm right about the tracking thing, then Enigma 4 is where we are now (You are in - we are in, after all, we logged in!) then 222 people have already found Enigma 5. Which is something do to with knowing 'his/her' name. Smile)
