I found the set (1-6) on puzzlesgamestoys.com. guess its not worth buying the set then huh?

i was wondering when #7 was coming out. oh well, i was really looking forward to these. they looked really unique. Well back to the REVOMAZE i guess. At least i found one amazing puzzle set. anyone else checked these things out? damn addictive i tell you!

No support - sacred myths and legends

I emailed FGA on Wed 1st April to complain that the website was not allowing password attempts. I got a reply on Mon 6th April to confirm that the problem had been fixed and "please try again".

Therefore, I don't think these games are "dead". I suspect they may have delayed the release of the Pyramid to maximise sales on the other 6 puzzles, so people know they are still in with a chance and the race is still ongoing.

I had puzzles 1-3 over a year ago and only just bought puzzles 4-6.

This could also be the reason why the website has not been updated since Feb 2008 and to give us a chance to catch up! After all if we have only solved the first puzzle and are still riddling with 2 and 3 there's really no urgent rush for them to put the clues up for the others is there?

If we are dictating the pace, come on let's get our heads together and crack these!

Puzzle concept

2-3 years ago I read an article about that line of puzzles.

The concept was that each puzzle could be solved on it's own but also solving a puzzle should help solving the next one. More, to solve the final puzzle, the pyramid, one would need to use one piece of each 6 previous puzzle of the serie. That quest looked very interesting to me.
I guess we have to wait and see the last puzzle of the serie to understand witch piece of each puzzle will be needed. I have wild guess here: in the Legend of the King there are 2 pieces of wood. The circular piece is a hint on how the Enigmatic Temple works. My guess is the other piece will have to be used to solve the Pyramid.(If not, why is it there?)

I think that solving The Equation was two fold :
1- put the pieces in the tray. That is it. Tough enough
2- put a piece of Da Vinci in the tray and fill it again. (Two puzzles for the price of one or should I say 3 for the price of two!)

What to expect was posted page 4 by DMB Aug 15th 2007!!!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
(I choose one of the small square and follow the map of the large one all pieces fit but 5 pieces. 4 pieces will be needed to do The Legend of the King and the other (wild guess) will be needed to solve the Pyramid??

The web clues look to me an extra that is not that usefull. Finding the code looks far to difficult and beside we know what the first 3 web clues are. ( Go look post by RJN page 2 Jul 12th 2007). The other web clues are simply not available so far.(will they ever be??)

I have finaly got the instructions for The Pillars of Atlantis from FGA:
Neighbours that touch should be different heights
Symbols should appear only once each in rows with symbols
Under the pillars with symbols, add the numbers
Answer is a hint for Carta Blanca.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
We already know from previous hints that the numbers posted on two end of a die seems to be important both for Pillars of Atlantis and Carta Blanca

I have found those puzzles fun and original but:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I am not sure that Carta Blanca is a fair puzzle as external help is needed to open it

I went to a games website that carries these puzzles. www.funagain.com. On the page for the last puzzle, it allows you to preorder, and also be notified when the puzzle is available. http://www.funagain.com/control/product/~category_id=SERIES_10465/~product_id=018363

Well, I went to the website posted above and requested notification when #7 becomes available. I have opened 1 through 6, and have the password for only #1. Like others, I think this series might be dead. Too bad, as it is very interesting. Hoping for a rebirth.

 Equation

Hello,

I don't think these puzzles are dead, and I don't understand why people are asking for the 7th puzzle, when nobody (or so few) has reached the 2nd psw...
They may sell the last puzzle when at least 1 people get the 6th password... or maybe they are waiting for 100 people...

This is my first post here. I opened 1 and 3, but got the disc free and the psw from 1 with this forum (with the first clue of Raziel, I discovered later that that psw has been given in free, and without spoiler... no comment).

I was monthes without being able to complete the Equation, and forelast weekend, my sister-in-law who never did brainteasers before, nor puzzles, was amused by it, and after 1:30 gave me that solution...
I searched then again but found no solution... again!
Despite I think my solution is not relevant (it is not the E...), I share it with you. The only interesting point is if you build on the right side, the square slide of and you see one complete formula...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
E=mc˛

It's always nice to see another version of the completed puzzle. Good job, Isidorus! However, finding an equation under your puzzle piece doesn't do much good without knowing what it's good for. Also rotating the base will give you a different result. This isn't to say that that particular equation is wrong....it's just that we've tried them all in search of the password with no solution. We have the clue that you get with the password, and we know that the dark pieces are used with the next puzzle. I would love to see the E-solution. I haven't had any luck with it.

The Equation

Let's see if we can get a little discussion going on this again, now that we have fresh, new clues.

"The placement of the 1st step of Davinci is the key to solving The Equation." and "Looking through will give you the formula for the password; it need not be new."
I think these obviously refer to the large piece of DaVinci with the markings. I placed the piece on the bare Equation board, and in through the hole only one "equation" is visible. This is the "4 2 6xP 4 ". My thought on this is that it's a number starting with 16, then possibly 6 to the power of 4, which is 1296. I tried 161296 as the password and it was wrong. Maybe it's a date 16/12/96.

One thing I've been wondering is why the P is capitalized. And why is it capitalized in the equation F=dP/dt? Is one referring to the other? This other equation involves force and conservation of momentum. Force equals the change in momentum (P) divided by the change in time. It's not a Newton law, but it's derived from his 3rd law of motion.

That's all I can think of for now. Any more ideas?

While I have read this entire forum, it's been a while, so I apologize is any of this has been repeated already.

The clue that is throwing me is, "The theory is out, but the equation will bring you full circle." This could mean anything, but it makes me think that whatever the answer is, it has to do with some superseded theory that is now obsolete (the theory is out). And that it has to with a circle. :)But that is probably too obvious to be true.

I know the general relativity equation and Newtons force and momentum equation. What are the others? (I dont have the puzzle with me today Smile Maybe piecing parts of the equations together will lead to an equation that is now obsolete? And THAT will lead to the password?

Along these lines I was thinking something like the Ptolemaic geocentric model (having to do with CIRCULAR heavenly bodies)... but I realize I am grasping at straws. Heh.

I don't know. I am sure it has been mentioned, but I also note that there are 5 markings on the Da Vinci piece... and there are 5 BROWN wood pieces in the Equation puzzle. ????

I just picked these up last weekend, so I haven't been laboring over them as long as others here. It is driving me bonkers tho. I looked at them under UV light last night.... because thinking about Newton led me to thinking about telescopes (telescopic vision) and that led me to thinking about UV light (not as it appears???) ....and all of it led me nowhere. Smile

The Equation

The "theory is out" clue is very baffling. Your superceded idea might go along with the beginning and end clue which refers to the death of Galileo and the birth of Newton. The circle could refer to elliptical orbits of the planets. One guy (guest) has posted here about that.

EDIT: oops. yes the geocentric model was probably the theory that is out. I didn't think of that before. Then the clue refers to the equation. Have to check the dates there. Like you said, that might be too easy. The amount of logic for the DaVinci password was more than this. Good to give it a try.

The other formula on the board is the 3-axis graphic, which I have not been able to identify. The Force equation is Newton, the e=mc2 is Einstein's, so maybe the 3-axis diagram is Galileo's. The "equation" seen thru the DaVinci piece is for the password.

Shirley, did you also pick up the King Arthur puzzle? I went over to Magicrock's house about a month ago, and we applied the brown DaVinci pieces to it. It was pretty cool.
