Sure I still read this DinnertimeNinja. I am so happy that someone finally came up with a nice and logic explanation of this mess. It gives me the peace of mind to move on. Smile Thanks a lot!

Final prize

I initially bought the first three puzzles as a pack deal and was fairly interested since i was able to solve the first one, puzzle and password, in a reasonable amount of time. Of course, as many, I was severely dissapointed with the second one sine there was no clear indication as the direction to take so I put that one aside. Once I got to the third one and I took it out of the box and it fell apart in my hands I ended my journey there. I did contact the company and inform them of my problem, and they did send me another one, which also fell apart. Seeing the solution without getting a chance to actually solve it was very jarring to the experience, to say the least. Anyway now that I see that the final puzzle is supposedly on its way I finally got around to wondering, what exactly is the outcome of this entire thing? Monetary, travel, or just satisfaction of knowing you solved everything? I tried looking around the site, to no avail, so hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me. Thanks!

I too Just bought these for a friend and for myself

Did not realize the 7th might not come out.....

I would like someone to give me the "format" of the password for "The Clue" as I am fairly certain I have what it should be but am not sure if I am entering it right or having case issues.....

I have read the entire thread (all 37 pages) nobody ever really posted the password as it should be entered.....

I am not even sure if the site where you enter the password is working...

So Please if any of you originals on this thread could give me a hand.

Thanks...

Well technically this a puzzle from not the Myth's and Legends puzzle set. There is also a prize associated with solving the puzzle.

Vincent, I don't see a puzzle. Just a list of magazines.

Password is:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Hint 2: Letters and numbers will make you smile when you've deciphered the password and get closer to the treasure (from the DaVinci scroll)
"Letters and Numbers ...": Roman numerals
"... will make [you] smile ...": date the Mona Lisa was painted (1506)
Password is MDVI (1506 in Roman numerals)

Hurray!!!

I just got the Temple password and to think I gave up yesterday and asked someone to tell me... but I just logged in and I got it?! Lucky Dragonkill hasn't sent me the answer yet (thanks for the help although now your clue is even more confusing, lol) so I feel that much smarter:)

If anyone wants a clue let me know Smile

Also for those who have got the password....

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Whats with the congrats message? No clue or anything for the next puzzle?

So now on to the Pillars of Atlantis which is a daunting thought at least I solved the password for this already Smile

Cheers for all the help and support

Pillars of Atlantis

Hi all,
well I've been looking at this for the last few days and its not as hard I first thought, although I have no idea want I'm doing lol!

Also has this actually been confirmed as solved yet?

So this is what I've theorized so far:-

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
From the clues "simple city walls" well that lead me to castle-like walls (up & down, what are they called??) This idea fits using all the unmarked pieces on around the edge of the board. This looks just like a castle wall with the exception of two short pieces. note*1
The other obvious rule is "equals cannot touch but can be neighbours" this fits the above up-down effect also. leaving the marked pieces (9 of to all be in the center "within the simple city walls"
Just by placing the these marked pieces and obeying the "neighbour" rule I quickly realized that it all works out even the 2 short pieces of the "wall" see note*1

Ok I know the whole setup can be rotated but by aligning the highest marked pieces ("utmost"?) to the higher numbers gives me this pattern.

arrangement
T M T M T
M # O ^ M
T ^ # O T
S O ^ # M
T S T M T

numbers
3 1 4 2 6
1 2 1 1 1
5 1 3 1 7
2 1 1 2 1
8 1 9 1 5

T=tall, M=medium, S=short
#=square, ^=triangle, O=cirlce

This led me to the numbers under the squares # which are 232 (2+3+2=7 this is the opposite faces total of dice, confirmation maybe?)

So what else is 232 this is what I've found?
a computer cable Rs232
boiling point of corn oil
burning temp of paper
232AD Emperor Probus was born
a windows NT error code (lol)
232 = "let there be light" when translated by some bible code thingy? Also this which is quite spooky "The writing of God, graven upon the tables" We have numbers engraved on a wooden table-like platform as the puzzle base?!

Ok I think I'm losing it now Wink

Let me know what you think of my findings,

Cheers

Hi, Flipside,
That looks like really good work to me, but I'm not an authority on that puzzle. I just wanted to point out what I think might be a slight error. You said under the squares (#) are the numbers 232. In your diagram you have 132. But I could be misinterpreting the diagram.

Hi Buddah31,

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Well to me you seem bang on track.

If I'm thinking of the same English Landmark, I hope this this helps with your circling thoughts Wink

And you will need to read up on Arthurian myths but concentrate on Arthur's teacher Wink

Hope this helps

Legends of the King puzzle

Hi,
As I'm thinking about this puzzle (which I have completed). I am still perplexed with one of the clues.

Most of the clues do actually make sense once you know the answer but this one bugs me still...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The Clue is this one:

A piercing dragon leads the way as the jewels beneath the tower shine upon the trail.

Does anyone know how this fits into the solution? I'd love to understand it, just to wrap things up Smile

Cheers

Flipside

PS No I'm not trying to get the prize for most post on a page Wink

 Puzzle #7 news!!!!!!

Hi guys,
I emailed Family Games Inc, yesterday asking about puzzle #7 and they replied today!! Very Happy

Quote from reply:-

"The puzzle is set to be released this year. There was some quality control issues when the last prototype was made, so back into production it went. We're hoping to have it out on the market ASAP to keep our customers happy!"

They also promised to update the website "soon" with news etc.

So it looks like we will be getting a final puzzle, well fingers crossed Wink

Cheers,

Flipside
