Hello
could someone help me with this nasty davinci puzzle. I have lined up all the discs and the top comes up so that there is a big gap but I just can't get the top off.
I have tried pulling it off but it would need force and that can't be right.

Any hints?

Hello Dav,

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

If you can't get the top off, it's 'cause the discs are not correctly lined... Try to find out which one(s) blocks the thing (it's where the top stops) and move it step-by-step.

I saw it mentioned that the Equation has two solutions, but I've found at least 4 different ways to get all the pieces to form a square. That's not counting flipping or rotating the puzzle on the base. So I assume there is some way to determine if a solution is correct -- which I hope to address once I figure out the blasted password from the first puzzle. Smile Even with all the clues listed earlier in this forum, I don't feel like I've made any headway. To keep me from going down another dead end... does anyone know if the password is the same for all language versions?

Hello,

Password is the same for all languages, actually, language does not matter to find it
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You might want to know Mona Lisa a little bit more in order to discover the password

Thanks!!!

That was the nudge I needed. Now I can move on to focus on the Equation. Woohoo!

You're welcome ! And if you have any clue for the Equation, I would be more than glad. I really don't understand how it helps to find an equation to put all the pieces on the support... Wouldn't it be better to leave one piece appart in order to get one equation or one symbol appears ? Although, I don't have the Da Vinci with me, so I can't really work it out correctly...

Has somebody understood the clue about the telescopiq vision ? Can't work out this one...

SVM...I've been trying to figure this out....Do you have any other hints that can get me a little further???

Thanks!!

Hello,

I've been working on the 'telescopic vision' clue of the Equation. May have an idea, but does not lead anywhere... Maybe somebody could help me

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The telescopic vision was the beginning of Galileo's theory about universe - round the sun- and the end of Aristote's -geocentric. No idea if that's gonna lead anywhere...
Another possibility : telescopic vision is the end of stereoscopic vision but I don't see what would mean 'the beginning' part if so.

If anybody has any clue, please, help (Raziel, you've been so good for the first one).

Has someone succeeded with this time waster ? And has someone found a roll in the Equation ?

Bye

Andy -
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There is a picture earlier in this thread which shows the puzzle solved. That might help you take the puzzle apart.

Just received The Enigmatic Temple yesterday and spent several hours playing with it. I finally opened it last night. Now I'm back to having three passwords to riddle out. Smile

For the password to The Clue.

To expand on a post from Raziel earlier...
Quote:
Hint 1: Letters and numbers = Roman Numerals
Hint 2: will make you smile - note the highlighted words
Hint 3: Title is of unimportance = The title "Mona Lisa" is not important

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Smile is a reference to Mona Lisa.

Make implies its creation.

How would you refer to that in Roman Numerals?

The equation

Hi,
I'm trying to resolve the Equation and I achieved (with a lot of luck and hours spent) to put all pieces in the square with 8 horizontal and 5 vertical. I think it is is not the correct solution.

For the one that have resolved it, is there a deterministic way to achieve this puzzle or is it the luck that made you discover the solution ?
How does the clue "Different formulas yield contradistinctive results - blueprints and steps will alter the summation since the solution is twofold" helps to place the pieces ?
Is it easier to resolve this puzzle with the piece from the Da Vinci puzzle ?

Thank you for your hints and explanations of how to handle this puzzle.

Nicolas

Read the rest of this thread carefully for starters.
If you can't easily pull the end off then not all disks are in the right place, simple.
