Leading on from sixsidedsquares question; will you be giving details of all of the meta puzzles about finding the cube?

Will you be providing clues/workings/answers to unsolved cards in due course?

What plans does Mind Candy have for the non-juvenile market during the next twelve months?

Will the international audience still be supported?

What about some of the other prizes that have been promised? Such as the 1Up.com contest, and the Extreme Puzzling competition.

Is the Development Team going to continue to work on PXC despite the Story Team having been let go?

I know the extreme puzzlers were announced (I didn't enter but I thought prizes were sent out..) I'll second the question about the 1up.com contest though we seem to have long been forgotten..

What is the one question we have not asked which you wish we would? And, as a fFollowup, what is the answer to that question?

Hehe, pretty much everyone I met at the Season One end party was chasing Guy for some kind of prize. He had a piece of paper with names of people and cards but whether it managed to make it to the end of the night...

I would ask about so many of the unsolved puzzles but... I like not knowing. Someone could pass by here in ten years time, look at Shuffled and say 'what a bunch of idiots, that's easy'. That would be nice. "What's next for MC?" isn't original but is what I'm curious about.

For how long will the Daily Puzzles continue? (I, for one, enjoy them.)

Hear hear. Shuffled is like our Greyweathers, it's best to just sit and not be given blatent hints. Someone will solve it in the end.

And congrats on the shiny ring PuzzledPineapple Very Happy

My first question:
What would be Mind Candy's position on a fan ARG using Perplex City characters?

Seconded. SECONDED SECONDED SECONDED! Razz
My question is, are there any plans to continue PxC in different formats? Mabye a book, a short film, anything; or are we just done and not going to see anything else besides the cards?

I second the "Fan ARG" motion extensively.

I do have one question of my own to ask, but I don't want to post it here, since it's a "were you planning to do this" question and if the game does still have a chance to come back I might be spoiling a big surprise... I'd love to e-mail it to him though, if I could.

Go for it Sylocat! I suspect that he won't be able to answer that kind of question, if it's not the sort of thing that would be answered here then it's probably not the sort of thing they'd tell any player, unless you get him very drunk and tickle his ears, but you'll never know unless you ask them. And the obvious question...

Yes its obvious, for which I apologise, but on that reasoning all the more need to ask it in absence of any independent movement from mind candy!

We wonder when a good PR statement on the future of PXC, the cards, welovepuzzles and the other things now hanging in the air in peoples minds will be provided? There's much love gone into them from both sides to date, and lots more love (and money) which is waiting to come from eager puzzlers/card collectors/ARGers - reassuring this captive market about what we can still look forward to would be a wise and friendly thing to do.

Meta-puzzle solutions

I'd second the request for solutions to all the meta-puzzles we failed to solve. Particularly how we were meant to get all of the "five fingers" without the Library of Babel prompting. How should we have put the number strings in order? How should we have known to look at RNA codons? How did the letters in the micro dot relate to Jurassic Park? What were the Risk pieces about?

If we don't get answers to these puzzles now, I don't think we ever will, which is a shame. I can see people continuing to work on something like Shuffled, so I can see the benefit of not revealing the solution to that, but these meta-puzzles have been solved - in the sense that we know the answers, if not the method - and no one's going to put effort into, or gain pleasure from, attempting to solve them properly.

I'd absolutely second this question, especially since the mind candy website http://www.mindcandydesign.com/ still has PerplexCity related material all over it.

This'll answer one or two of those questions, posted by adaml43420 on Perplexorum:

Mind Candy customer services wrote:

Thanks for your email regarding Season 2.
There are a lot of rumors on forums, blogs and websites regarding the
future of Perplex City at present. We do work hard to make Perplex City
a fun and hassle-free experience and understand that issues like these
must be frustrating!

All 3 waves of Season 2 will be released as planned. As you will
already know, wave 1 has been released. Next to follow will be wave 2, and
finally wave 3 â€Â" dates to be confirmed.
You will still be able to enter solves on the website as per normal and
points will still be added to your player profile.

I hope that helps clear up any confusion. If you have any further
questions, please do not hesitate to contact us here at Perplex City or
check out our website www.welovepuzzles.com

Best regards and happy puzzling,
