The domino is most likely 12/12 (y) to finish off their threat.
I can get October out of "Too much butter"
October +6 (letters), sort of goes with the Hatters hat.

And what sort of mushrooms did they put in that chocolate!!!

Is "Too much butter--" an actual quote? or something to be puzzled about?
The best I can do is the Carpenter's "The butter's spread too thick!"

Edit: (Doh) found it. The Hatters watch was two days off on the fourth.

It seems to be:

I know it's in every picture of the hatter. But could the paper on his hat indicate the date? Just a thought. Grasping at straws and all that. That would make it October 6th.

Mad Hatter Day (US) as the launch date.

I just started reading thru this today and was enjoying the story quite a bit. Unfortunately as I was turning to page 10 I think I got a 401 error page. After going back to the first page I found this message:

Quote:
The Alice Is Lost! project is not continuing. This is a cancellation, not a postponement, of the endeavor. Thank you to everyone who expressed an interest in it. This message is not a puzzle nor part of a game. - Eric Harshbarger

Shoot!

That is a shame, fully cancelled rather than postponed too. Hope everything's OK with Eric.

I noticed that Eric is back up on the Mind Candy Design "People" page. Was it always like this, or it possible that he just rejoined, and had to cancel AiL to work on Moshi Monsters?

I might be wrong, but I don't think he ever left. Moshi has been in development for some time, but I think it's supposed to be starting shortly (well, Autumn). I would have thought that extra work would result in a postponement rather than cancellation though.

I just wish that we, the players, were given a heads up that if there are problems maybe we can help out. This trend of folding up at a moments notice is very frustrating. I was really looking foward to this game.

Fooey, I was truly looking forward to this one. What a shame. I had my hopes held high for this, it was looking so good...

The ending was rather annoying... and saddening.

The least he could have done is send those who subscribed an email, rather than just leaving the text on the front page.

I wish he had left the old pages up. I really loved what it was coming to be.
