[PUZZLE?] I need to find a word...Elsevier
Something new! Off sight hint, need help!

There was no topic for this and I think it MIGHT be important! I brought it up earlier, someone brushed me off, I continued looking...and I found something.

Can someone help, please? We need to find a word? Shocked

[edit - clarified the topic title - we're not mindreaders Wink - kona]

EDIT: Added topic tag. --Phaedra

word

Earlier today...either in the newspaper, (I thought on the Akarm site), somewhere...I saw this word...

Elsevier

I ran it through anagrams. It had another word in front or behind it. I thought it was somewhere among the drugs in Akarm.

word

If we can find it....it may just be a red herring BUT....I've found it somewhere else too.

Science text publishing company.

It would really help to know where you found it (in what context it was used).

Word
To Kona

Kona,

I was running anagrams today on words on the different sites we have...Akarm, Zenderol...

THAT is one of the words I found...it was followed by or preceeded by another word, again mixed up.

That one struck me as odd because it is an anagram for "relieves".

Word

In the last long thread we had, I was following it up but it got locked out.

Some person said "find the google mirror" and some other stuff...so I looked, found several things, which lead me back to that word that I found in the akarm stuff.

*sighs* Am I making any sense?

I got there through the fake science magazine that the mirror google took me to.

???

THAT word I looked up early this morning. I found it among the sites we've been watching. I'm still trying to find it again.

Thank you, princess. It's beside another long, strange word, among the names of drugs or in a drug ad, I think. I'm looking, too, still.

i dont think the science mag is a fake... i think the google mirror was just a hint so we'd know that some of the meds spelled backwards spelled funny things like bedwet. other than that, i havent found anything useful on googlemirror site

Magazine

It could be real, it was just things like this that made me think it was fake.
"Cellphone chat on the hoof may be bad for your health
Pedestrians making cellphone calls pay less attention to safety when crossing roads than those without phones".

Plus it lead me to a fake Amazon site. With books that had ridiculous names.

On the right side of the page, where it says "athens login" is where I went to find that word again. I looked at their companies and that one popped up. And I know I saw it this morning, it was still saved in my windows words so I didn't even have to retype it to anagram it again. Oh, well.

Oh, well

It's ok, Princess. I'll look more, but one of the pages has changed since this morning anyway. Don't worry about it, it was probably nothing. Sad
