Hey all, as another newbie, this game got my attention. I really enjoyed following along, getting a feel for the process, and I can see how easily I could get hooked on these games. I didn't even know ARG's existed online until this. Whats a good game for a newbie to get her feet wet on?

Me, too -- it's been great fun.

Tell me about it.

I'm curious to see how many tootsie rolls I can buy. Wink

Ya know, I'm looking for a new game too. Tried the EDOC Laundry Game for a while but it seems really tough. I'm a newbie too - SMH was my first - and possibly my last - ARG. (Way, WAY too time-consuming - but in a good way.) My Mom - my best friend and roomie - was critically ill for 6 months and passed away a few weeks ago. This SMH forum was a great diversion and wonderful laugh-therapy for me. (BTW - I got here via CuteOverload. HUGS, Meg!)

The interaction among people on the SMH forum was more fun than the game! I sat here by myself, laughing until my sides ached at jackofalltrades1800, sleepless, Sharon, eeeek!, LuxCal, dixiedoo, and many others - and Grinder's rants just cracked me up - and Earnest T. was so sweet. Can't remember everything or everyone - but I thank you ALL for letting me play!

unFiction moderators! You are awesome at keeping people in-game, focused and positive. Rock On, y'all!

Anyway, if you want to give it a shot, you can find the laundry game here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/
- its about the 4th one down.

Good luck to you, MrsMag!

Did everyone get this message??

Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping find my husband. You successfully solved the 8 Day Mystery and will receive your share of the $25,000 reward. If it weren't for the dedication, smarts and persistence of people like you, Grant would still be walking around a free man and I wouldn't have my husband home safely.

I was really surprised - and touched - by the amount of interest in my husband's disappearance and by all the support I received. Over 30,000 people tried to help me and my son Max and 6,013 actually solved the mystery all the way through. I am working on sending out the reward money.

I hope you got something out of it, too - beyond just receiving a reward. And don't go too far. I have a sneaking suspicion that things are still not right, what with Sonia's disappearance and all, and next time things could get a lot more complicated.

Thanks again,
Christina

Yeah I spotted her. Remember the guy she talked about on her blog that was really attractive, etc. etc. but the down side was that he thought he was a fish in his previous life? She morphed into an octopussy and is clinging to him for dear life Twisted Evil

SMH Winners

Got the email -- I just might frame the check, for kicks. Too funny! I AM kinda curious to see what the Sonia mystery might be, since they sorta promised it would be more difficult. Why not? Laughing

Oh yeah -- and they'll spend $2465.33 for stamps!

I done beat Sonia's @ss. I found her sitting on a bar stool in Mexico talking crap and handing out free drinks. After she told me that this was all HER idea....I lost it. My kids even got a few licks in because they were mad at me for sitting on the computer looking for bullcrap "CLUES". LOL We beat her to a pulp!!!!

I'm Rich!

I received my notification this evening. Maybe the check (or whatever they send us) will become a collectors item someday and worth really big bucks.

Does anybody know how many of the 6,013 winners were from here?
