What's the green thing under the Indian?

There look to be two things by the wooden cross: a flower and something like a bird foot on a leather cord. I don't think the flower and the foot are the same object.

Flower

Lol, it's a Boutonniere, also known as a button hole. In plain English its a flower, usually a rose, with an attached wire that has been wrapped in green tape. The bend in the end is to prevent it from coming out of the breast coat button hole.
It would signify that he went to a wedding he wanted to remember.

The thing under the indian is connected to the key. Somekind of keychain. Its hard to make it out. It some kind of stone fastened to a flat square of metal.

The insignia is 2 crossed arrows on top of a horseshoe.. Pretty sure its military..

Yeah, I blew up the flower and saw that it's wrapped, rather than being under something else. Any ideas on the type of flower?

We determined way back when that the badge is some sort of special forces insignia, possibly green berets.

Edit:

The wiki article for US special Forces confirms.

I think we're off-track with the Finnish thing. It's a possibility, but we shouldn't rule out English. Maybe the password is Xcharms where X=the number of lucky objects he kept?

Any idea what brand of multi-tool that is on the right side?

@mort

IRC or something might be easier if you're still around.

The tool. It doesn't strike me as one I've seen.. stopped looking at knives years ago (right after I learned how much better guns are for defense)..

(just an observation I feel like making.. OMFG AP must have been a REALLY lousy Gberet, unless that insignia was someone else's, to have someone sneak up and kill him.. I mean they're trained in some of the hardest guerrilla warfare tactics ever known.)

[Below is not spec.. just funny]
LOL, I bet his girlfriend was the Gberet. Makes me laugh thinking she probably kicked his ***...

Hop on MSN. Was out all yesterday and had a rough night, so I'm just catching up with yesterday.

I need to find out what year Adam Ant appeared at the Masquerade in Ybor, FL on March 8th. This is regards to a Ticketmaster ticket found on my client's son.
Please respond ASAP.
Thank You,
Sebring @ Friday Private Eye

Hopefully they'll get back to me quickly..
As per me and Mort's talks it could help us in the case that the password is based off the month/day/year format.

Vote.. Let's vote

LOL, all 3 of us. =P
I want to repost some of what we have on these boards onto Twitter for RT.. Basically lists of what we're tried and some of our specs on the items.

I'd like a yah or nay vote before I do it though.
I feel like RT is part of our team =D.. an MIA member but hey we have lots of those...

I say it's way past time to bring RT into the fold, at least for the immediate future. Now that RT is our only source of new info, there's no reason not to keep him informed of our current doings.

I don't think it's time to let him know any more about Germain's group. Let's play that by ear.

As far as the stone sphere goes: we're pretty sure that it's an unextracted ruby in its natural quartz and ore matrix. And that it's the ruby pebble referenced by AP's username on the site.

Twitter/RT

No, I wasn't terribly close to AP. Was in pretty close quarters for a short time and then traded notes occasionally. I think the bigger impact comes from the knowledge that if it wasn't for me, and my trying to contact him about all this BS, he would almost certainly still be around. That's a big load to carry. I guess I was able to keep the reality of that at a distance until I saw all his stuff in that picture. But that's my problem to deal with. I'm still thinking about the stuff (there's a lot of weird stuff in that box; i.e. why the heck would he have a special forces insignia (that's what that is, right?), but the one thing that came back to me after seeing these things had to do with that girl I mentioned some time ago; Karianne. She was a past girlfriend of AP's and apparently he always felt like he really screwed up with her. Anyway, I guess that they were both big into gaming back whenever that was, because I remembered him being drunk and going on about her and how they would spend all their time gaming. He said he always played some sort of magician and she never played anything but an elf; and that she was an archer. I'll let you know if anything else jogs a memory.

I swear I'm not following this! lol I saw a video of a crazy tea drinker, and was going to post the link on twitter to RT....and he had already been there. Now I have to go back and find the link....cuz I erased it by copy/pasting all of that Sad
