the watchdog idea is a good one. i know this might end up being complicated, cuz theres so many people involved in this already, but what good do you guys think TWO groups might do. one a watchdog and then the other... say.... a couple of reporters or something for a newspaper? that might be over the top for mr. green, but would be perfect for handling the youtube guy.

 		The Group and Claudia's Number
I'm currently working on a rough proposal for the watchdog group. My idea for a name is: The American Center for Mindful Capital Expenditures (ACMCE). It is a non-profit, non-partisan, independent organization that focuses on overspending and political corruption in American politics (misuse Congressional earmarks, for example).

I also agree with thaliondu that we should have a basic contact list for us to get organized and to keep updated on.... updates.

Also, has anyone else noticed that Claudia's number is busy? I've tried calling it a few times, but to no avail.

i agree we need to just get organized first. get a core of people dedicated to doing this. as of now, im attempting to get a hold of jeff on youtube so i can maybe get some info from him off the phone, etc. and i can record phone calls, so thats an excellent thing. but... damn. he can look up my phone number and see that it isnt even my phone. oh well.

I was listening to collateral_6 : audio_2 over again and found it curious that the beginning of the message is played over. I was watching the transcription across the bottom and it seems to me that she is saying a little more than is being translated at the bottom. We could really use someone that knows finnish.

Also at the very end of the message the guy says "Aw. That sucks." But if he was leaving quickly to go back to the states and was going to miss their meeting anyway why would he be dissappointed?

 		what if john green is a fictional character... or jpike is... my main point being that they might be the same person. they are both acting clueless as to this not being a game. why not try and get phone calls from them both. meanwhile, i think somebody was gonna travel to virginia pretty soon, so they might be able to check in on john green's house to try to get some more information.

i have another 'idea'. maybe there is no story yet. or at least, not that they're revealing yet. since this is the prelude stage, there might be nothing more to solve as of now. they might just be setting us up for things to come, waiting for more players, or adding suspense and confusion

 		I think we should at least wait for another clue released by Overwatch before drawing conclusions.

John Green may very well be our best bet on retrieving more information, but, like a locked door in a game, we need the key or password to get in. I feel like if we emailed or left phone messages with the right content, we would be let in. Since he is an actor, he is instructed on how to respond to us, and so think of him as an NPC. NPCs won't respond to anything you say unless it is correct for their script, and then you're allowed to advance the quest.

But I don't think we have that information yet so we should sit back. Sure, 7 files have been released, but I am sure this is to pique interest and give us time to organize. There is not really much we can do other than look up GPS coordinates and what we have done, trying to connect everyone.

Creating a group name wouldn't be bad, though. And my only problem with a group directory is making something a little too available online. But, I'm sure, the Overwatch staff already has searched for players getting involved in the game, so this Unfiction forum is probably completely "safe"; puppetmasters want players, so they would not interfere directly with our conspiring together. In fact, it probably lets them know exactly what their clues are telling us, and helps them figure out what to leak to us next.

Sorry about talking about this in the context of a game (I'm not sure if that is kosher or not in ARGs), but I think it keeps things in perspective so we don't have to agonize over the clues at every second until it comes to that point.

What's interesting about them is the location of where they are. The file 6 seems to be a home somewhere in London, whereas file 7 appears to be in the parking lot of some building.

My only problem, is that file 7 it doesn't match up with either John Green's residence or the OIS building. Perhaps we've found where the OSPREY Project is being conducted?

 		I'm hoping I didn't just waste about an hour just now, but I went ahead and created the government watchdog group I mentioned earlier. I mostly created it for myself, since I claimed to be an investigative reporter for such an organization (it was yet to be named back then) when I first message Mr. Green. Feel free to contribute or use it as a cover for speaking with OIS.

The location is in the parking lot of the Arlington Executive Building.

London and Washington D.C.
I think that the coordinates are rather approximate. The fact that they are in D.C. and London fits with the narrative of the story that we know so far. I don't think there is anything worth finding out about the two locations, they both seem to have hotel-looking things around them, but I could be wrong.
