Hey guys. That upscaled symbol is a little off. Here's a proportionate one:

Notice the top right limb. It actually works pretty well. Not well enough that I would call it intentional, but still.

The Brute Ghostbusters group

I was just added to the Brute Ghostbusters group. My name on the bnet forums is Death 1ncarnate. I'll keep everyone posted as to any events there! I notice that only 6 new members have been accepted so far (including me). I wonder if this has anything to do with me receiving the xbox flash email as well?

No, probably moreso that people randomly get invited to groups, because their owners are idiots.

I do see similarity.. but you could take almost any small symmetrical Multiplayer map and get similar results.

but who knows?

Also, seems like the weekly updates during ILB were about the same with their silence although the community was... uh, buzzing.

I might agree, but in this case the "idiot" is lukems, a Bungie employee.

Maybe you really should have read a lot before posting this. Of course it's the same.

Playing devil's advocate, this is a pretty long thread. We're probably going to see more of this as the posts pile on. At what point is this going to get its own unforum?

And oh, it's good to be back Smile

Sorry to be off topic but, Drew, could you go over to the SOTA and Tranmission thread and try the same symbol over lay on top of the background image on the Transmission page?

Society of the Ancients in London. Other places?

I'm rapture from HushedCasket.com. This morning I woke to a random email sent from my personal website at (removed). I don't even use that website. Old content. Never updated. I rarely have anyone contact me through the contact form. If anyone wants to contact me via gaming-related stuff, they usually do it through the Hushed Casket contact forms. So I was surprised that the following mail from it wasn't spam from my personal account.

Copy of the email:

Clicking that link lead to a Flickr account owned by "keeper_of_flame". It contains the following three images:

Not anything ground breaking I suppose.

But, we know this thing has hit Europe. I wonder if we'll see SOTA (and ARG) stuff in other places around the globe?

nice find! There probably have been more rallies in some places... I'm going to see if there's been any in toronto (since it'll only have been in major cities if at all)

A couple items of note:

SOTA seems focused on Stonehenge more so than any other alien phenomenon. Why? There are plenty of other places to tighten the lens, but on their site, their signs, and in the video of their speeches, they appear enamored with the circle of stones. Granted, it looks a bit like the glyph, and it does have to do with alignment and solstice, two thing are become more and more important to AR and this entire sequence of events. I wonder if the mysterious stones will be playing a significant role as we move forward.

Also, regarding Derelict, or any other Forerunner structure, it should be noted that they are all similar. The circle is pervasive in their writing and architecture. You could lay that glyph over the top of plenty of their works and have it match closely, whether an abandoned orbital installation, another glyph, or a control room.

EVERY paranormal site in the world loves stonehedge. You're just not considered "cool" otherwise XD

May still be relevant, but I think it's more just bungie making the game a bit more realistic
