true Nola..

but meh, I like the more grandiose, controversial, political issue involved with the covert spying on the citizens of earth by an automated system, throughout our entire history Razz
good sci-fi right? question and explore current controversial events in a safer sciene-fiction setting? Smile

but Occam would like your theory better =)

edit: oooooooo another level: Assuming AR has control of the Ark's machines (re: the comic) -- Without the internet/world wide electronic communication more than say, 20 years ago, how would it study humanity? via the machines... what if... that research being carried out by AR is the source of all UFO sightings throughout history? oooooo

/me done his tinfoil hat

Well, accorsing to SOTA, the ancients push human development forward when they see fit. This not only implies monitoring, but also contact. Considering how human technology has leapt forward in the past 150 years, then that channel of communication must be pretty active. Maybe AR can come to us in our dreams! (or at least all the smart people's dreams, which would explain why I never seen it).

Maybe the forerunners left a non-biological entity frozen in ice at the end of the 19th century and it was found by the government, who created a secret agency to reverse enginrer weapons techonology from it. Oh wait... wrong ARG!

The blue that you're referring to is actually part of the pageview counter at the bottom of the page. This was discovered before and determined to be META. Move along...

This was also in the text of the membership application PDF. No other information on Aaron Elliot has been found.

AR+Transmission Log

First time ARG'er here, but I've been following this one since it began!

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before, but is it possible that the Transmission Log (http://206.16.223.65/) is actually coming from Adjutant Reflex itself? Now that he appears to be "under attack" according to his recent posts:

Quote:

My security measures are being tested. I can feel it.

By the pricking of my thumbs.

Quote:
I can retain integrity for at least 22 hours. Rerouting bandwidth to deflect assault.

Meanwhile, the transmission log reads:

Quote:
Transmission Interruption - Go Dark /negative/
Possible Intercept - System Bypass Imminent

/adjust bypass according to threat/ Fluctuating

Seems like the two may be related somehow (or even, perhaps, that the IP is somehow being adopted by AR?)
