However

He himself is a computer though correct? Therefore it must technically be stored in an array and he would either Seg Fault (which would be awesome) or return some values.

He could; it seems like he is gathering information and what better place to put information than in an array of some sort.

Now, whether or not he as an advanced AI dating back hundreds of thousands of years programs in C++...

Hello, unfiction. I missed out on most of ILB, but I hope I can help contribute a bit to this game.

Just wanted to give the heads up that the dubious XBL account has changed its motto to a phone number: (616) 634-2000. See here for ongoing discussion at HBO.

UPDATE: Due to bandwidth and clutter concerns, all future ARG discussion on HBO will take place at http://args.bungie.org or risk deletion. *bookmarks new forum*

Hmmm; I think that it would be multi-dimensional (most likely a Hash) so the question would be how to discover the number of elements in the array. Could it be... NO way... ARGC / ARGV?!?!?!

EDIT: Has anyone called the phone number stated above?

Pay attention to the big cliff

Click for bigger version.

See that big cliff in the northwestern end? If that is the cliff from the trailer, than the coordinates lead EXACTLY to where that big laser hit.

Wooo first post! Sorry for the mistake

P.S.
It has to be from Genesis(although the rest are really cool coincidences)

They board the Ark to avoid the coming flood, revenge for their sins.

EDIT: Sorry, that image is just too big to be right there in the forum table. Now linked and attached -xnbomb -Fixed, but useless anyway...

Maybe MC was running from Voi because something happened there?

Audio on the number is trippy enough to make it seem somewhat real... can anyone get a good enough recording to transcribe it or figure out what the beeps are?

Some folks seem to be overlooking that halo and halo 2 occur in the distant future. This is happening now. In 2007, Halo hasn't been blown up yet.

From what I can tell, that is a wireless phone in Grand Rapids, MI, and the provider is Omnipoint. Makes me question the validity of the number and the XBL account.

I'll be calling the phone number when I get home from work in a few minutes; I must ask this, if this is happening now for a game that happens in the future. Is it possible the AR is actually the predecessor to Guilty Spark? Or better yet, the one who created the library and THUS Guilty Spark?

Or is it possible that AR time travels, thus having it travel back in time to find out how it could have stopped the flood instead of using Halo?

On maps.google.com

-3.3788,38.5687

Comes to point exactly to Voi.

I called the number, and i heard an audio clip from Red Vs Blue. I just watched the episode a few days ago. Pretty sure its a verbatim clip from one of the episodes.

I'd like to bring this up again

Here is how it breaks down:

Hours in a year, according to Google = 8,765.81277

Hours passed since activation as cited by AdjutantReflex = 871,803,909+-384

871,803,909 / 8,765.81277 = 99454.999995396890047880865244627

Rounded, that's roughly 99455 years since activation.

100,000 - 99455 = 545

We're in year 2007. The events in the Halo story arc take place in the year 2552.

2552 - 2007 = 545

Cool

I think we're supposed to activate it, so whatever happens 545 years from now happens.

P.S.
You're right, sorry, the coordinate marker was overshadowing the Voi marker. Either way, I was trying to bring the BIG cliff into attention, not the Voi thing.
