This means I can't authenticate the Live chat transcripts; I'd definitely advise viewing them with suspicion.

I feel like this thing is definitely 343 Guilty Spark, or one of its predecessors. The only problem is that it will only answer to the Reclaimer. The only known Reclaimer is Master Chief, who wont be born for another 200 some years. The question is will someone, maybe one of us, be named the Reclaimer?

Of course this is all assuming this is actually a game, not just a teaser or a viral campaign.

My suspicion is that the intelligence we are dealing with now on bungie's site is somehow related to the (presumably forerunner) device which is shown in the halo 3 announce trailer. Presumably, whatever that thing is that gets unearthed in 2552 is buried under present-day Voi. And that present-day forerunner device is somehow communicating with us through bungie's forums.

If I'm right about this, then he was built by the same creators as the monitors in the halo games, which expalins the similar style of speech. I just want to stress that as far as we know, the storyline we're are currently investigating takes place in the present day, so none of the events from ILB or the two halo games have occured yet. This means that all 7 halo installations are currently intact.

I suddenly remebered this while I was reading this thread...

At the end of april, gamehead ( gamehead.spiketv.com ) did an episode on 42entertainment ( M$'s favourite ARG-firm as they did Halo, Halo2, 360 and Vista allready ), at the end of the episode they clearly state that in the episode are clues for the Halo3 ARG, I've just watched the whole thing again ( and again and again ) but I've got no clue what could be the 'hint', maybe some of you 'veterans' should check it out? It has been stated in this thread allready that the 'starting point' might have been missed, maybe it was in this video?

( you have to look throught the list at the bottom to find the other segments, there are 4 about 'Alternate Reality', all of which contain images and footage from 42entertainment...

I'm quite novice at this, but I hope it might help some of you ARG-guru's cause I'm really curious about this Smile

( I'm from Europe (Brussels) by the way so I could possibly help out a bit should this sway to the 'old continent' a bit Smile
