 		Another ILB lurker excitedly jumping back in, but thought I'd point out that the visor glyph is a reflection after all, so the glyph should probably be read flipped horizontally.

Doesn't matter too much at this point, but it may. Has anyone tried looking at what line specific line segments differ between the two?

 		Yea, it could be a gate to a micro dyson sphere. But what does AR want us to do with knowing that information? What is in that sphere?
I think whatever AR wants us to know, it definitely has something to do with that artifact.

BTW, the symbol is also on the story page that the main picture on Halo3.com links to. Any thoughts on something hidden in the story synopsis?

Think Promethean. Coupled with the Ark. Keepers of the flame are humans, the life that lives beyond the activation of the Halo array.

Any luck with the images at Halo3.com? The glyph is on the main page image, and on the cropped image on the following page if you click through, but it is not in the same shot you can download in 720p from the media page (chiefvisor.jpg).


I understand where you are coming from with this and I would agree with you if the story of the Ark was Greek or the story of prometheus was jewish. These are two stories from two different cultures, so it makes me wonder if thats what the emails are eluding to. I could be wrong, and probably am, but I just think that the fact that these are two different cultures makes me think they may not be related.

It's actually on a few things. The scorpion's and Wraith's descriptions, the Pelican's picture, The Gravemind's picture, and the screensavers page. I thought that it might be something too, until I saw it on the screensavers page. Doesn't seem all that relevant now.

 		I think it is time for a fact check.
Anyone think that they have all the facts so far and can just write that out for everyone to be on equal footing?
Things like the XBL chats are hoaxes and AR is only using bungie.net forums for direct communication so far.

I remember someone mentioning the symbols in the H3 emotion wallpaper. I took it into gimpshop and brightened it up a it....all i can make out is a few numbers and some symbols from one of the asian languages...anyone make any sense of em?

Edit: Also Cortana's iris's look slightly like AR's symbol on b.net. Not a perfect match but eh, I've got no leads.

 		I think the symbols are just the scrolling cortana code, because that must be Cortana in the background. Always watching Master Chief. That would lead anyone to become quite emotional. Laughing

I believe the Arkie profile pic is a holographic map display of a particular level. I recall seeing something similar on the holographic map display in Halo 1. Cortana's iris looks manufactured, artificial to me, but not really similar to the profile pic on B.net.

And Silent_shadow900 I do believe that you should read GoO as soon as is possible. I am fairly certain that there will be tie-ins to it.

 		Why are some people so sure about www.27.com and whether it's fake? Maybe Bungie did say it is a fake, but didn't they say the same thing in the beginning of I Love Bees?

I'm following this ARG at a Dutch forum and a member called NL Revell (credits go to him) created a picture which I find very interesting. He combined the forerunner symbol from the e-mail with a thing he found on the site www.27.com. I was wondering what you think of the following picture:



Maybe it is a little farfetched but I think it's pretty interesting.
